Stopped by as had a bit of time to kill before a meeting. Lovely coffee and received a yummy chocolate raisin biscuit to go with. Friendly young lady with a smile, brought the coffee to me. Definitely will return to try lunch next time

Went to the Brickmakers for an evening drink. The pub is very popular with locals but you always receive a friendly welcome. The guest ales change on a regular basis. This pub is also very dog friendly. We have eaten on other occasions, and the...More

I have lived fairly locally for a little while and wish I had realised sooner what a lovely gastro pub the Brickmakers is. I also hadn't appreciated the lovely little garden. The service was perfect; friendly and efficient. An extensive gluten free menu on offer...More

This in an almost ideal village pub, without the pretentious, tourist-trap frills that spoil so many other pubs. Warm, friendly staff, and a great range of truly home cooked and locally sourced food. There is a very good wine list too. We found the pub...More

I'd only visited this pub/restaurant once before...probably 6-7 years ago. Back then it was expensive, cliquie, pretentious and cold. There was no reason for my visit today, other than simply curiosity...and what a transformation. The staff are young, welcoming and efficient. The food looks pretty...More
