On the island for 7 nights and spent 5 of them here. Why? because of the amazing welcome we received from owner Marisanna, her son George and her best friend Anastasia. The view sat on their terrace watching the best sunsets we have ever seen, whilst sipping away at their scrumptious Mojitos and chatting and laughing away with them very... More

Forget about Oia, Fira and pretty much any other overrated place on this island. From the main square of Pyrgos village, walk up to the "Upper Square" of Agios Nicolaos church and you'll find KASTELI 1663! A cute café with a local character and lovely people. Breakfast with a breathtaking view of the south part of the island and the... More

Kasteli 1663 is set on top of the hill, nested among a couple of churches, and a little shaded plazza. It's really the place to be at 4 P.M. for a fresh Vulkan beer, or a fresh lemonade on the terrace, overlooking the village of PYRGOS. a very romantic moment, in the shadow of the Eucalyptus trees around.

In a formar chapel built in 1663, with the greatest food and a lemonade to die for. Love it!! It's just the stop you need when visiting the beautiful Pyrgos.

My partner and I dropped in here as part of our walk around the town. We did not eat here but very much enjoyed looking at the fantastic photographic exhibition. We were also fortunate enough to speak with the owner (who is the granddaughter of the photographer), who had a wealth of information about the history of the island and... More

We discovered this beautiful cafeteria while strolling around Pyrgos with my boyfriend. We were truly impressed by the café's beautiful seating in the historic building right at the entrance of the fortified settlement, by the hosts' attention to every detail in the set-up of the tables and the photographic exhibition, and by the quality of our food and drinks (best... Over august my family and I did a cruise around Greece, exploring different islands. Overall, it was my husband, I and our eldest daughters, favourite cafe in Santorini. The views are fantastic and it is a very atmospherically place. The staff are welcoming welcoming and there is a wide choice on the menu at very good prices, I highly recommend... More

While on holiday with a small group of friends we were always getting split up and having to phone each other to meet up again. It was such an occasion when my partner and I stopped for a second to take a photo on a stair case leading upwards between the buildings when our friends had vanished. We search the... More
