The title is not hyperbole, we were in Santorini for 9 whole days and of all the places we ate at (Well known, iconic, obscure, unique...) Pyrgos was THE BEST! Their Moussaka was sublime, cheese cake, so fresh it was sliding off and every dish...was handcrafted to evoke a sensory awakening. The greatest testimonial is how (despite having the best, almost 360 degree view of the entire island) we DON'T remember the view from the restaurant at all! Also, the service was excellent! Konstantinoj, was a gem, who was attentive, thoughtful and made the best recommendations! We would visit Santorini again just to dine here ;)More

We had lunch at Pyrgos restaurant and it was a superb meal. Beautiful fresh bread and homemade, house dips were served, the mayonnaise, beetroot and garlic dip was delicious, the tomato and honey dip was also divine. We ate fried squid and Greek salad for...starters, both were very good. For mains we had veal steaks and French fries with an order of mushroom sauce on the side. The meat was tender, juicy and full of flavour, the fries lightly dusted with black pepper were perfect but the pièce de résistance was the mushroom sauce and lifted the whole dish to another level. The chef is very talented and obviously knows a thing or two about quality, flavour and texture. The waiter was so professional and accommodating, nothing was a problem. Thank you for taking great care of us. I will surely return to Pyrgos Restaurant.More

If your visiting Santorini then you must visit Pyrgos! Such a lovely restaurant with an amazing view. The menu is great and the food - wow! Also viewed the different options to host a wedding here which are all stunning.

We had our wedding reception at Pyrgos Restaurant in the Panoramic Hall. We are so glad we selected Pyrgos, as the venue was absolutely stunning with the most unbelievable sunset views across Santorini. You also got to see the rest of Santorini lit up at...night with the view across the island, so it was the most beautiful backdrop for our reception. We opted for the buffet menu option but had this served family style in the middle of the tables. We have literally never ever seen so much food at a wedding as we did at our own. The food the waiters bought was endless and everyone was literally fit to burst when the dinner was over. The selection and quality of the food was next level and faultless. It was by far the best meal we ate on the island, and (although slightly biased) the best food we've ever had at a wedding. We are also so glad we opted for the family style serving as it was very sociable & it also encouraged the fussy eaters in the family to try a selection of Greek food that they never would have tried otherwise - and shock, they absolutely loved it! Everything from the stunning venue, the high quality food, and the super friendly & attentive staff made our reception absolutely perfect and unforgettable. We had our wedding reception here and I can't find any faults. The staff were friendly and efficient, the food was amazing and decent size portions, the venue has amazing views too which is what Santorini is about. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
