Went here on Saturday evening for dinner. This pub is super cosy and the staff are very friendly.Food was lovely and fresh and great value for money.Eating dinner beside the lovely open fire was just perfect. I would definitely go again and recommend.

We visited the pub for a drink and dinner during the week. The Guinness was really awesome, possibly the best pint of it I've ever had! I had the Steak which was really lovely, my dad had the scampi which he really enjoyed! Not too pricey either for what we got.

To be fair we only called in for a bowl of soup When we arrived as I don't drink we just went and sat at a table, they have a great turf fire and an olde world charm which is somewhat destroyed by a massive TV screen blaring in the adjoining bar. Perhaps it was the fact that we did'nt... More

Visit here twice a year when in Donegal. Seafood is great, large portions and great value. Music thereafter likewise wonderful .

One of my favourite places in Donegal. A little off the beaten track but well worth finding for the atmosphere and the smell of turf being burnt. I'd recommend the chilli seafood platter- ridiculously good. Friendly staff and WiFi too. 👍

We stayed in Downings at the beginning of November. We went to this pub twice for food. Food was excellent - friendly staff and gorgeous open fire. Lovely little play ground out front for children. Well worth a visit
