This Ice cream place is very good! We had several items on the menu. My favorites were the smoothies, caramel sundaes and fruit pie sundaes. The brownie sundae was too sugary for my taste. I really recommend it!

Ice cream!!!!

Okay Normandy and Isigny sur Mer in particular is famous for its excellent ice cream, well to say the least I wasn't disappointed at La cabane à glaces!

Maple (Erable) Ice Cream!!!!

It’s all about the Maple (Erable) Ice Cream. It’s better here than anywhere! For all I know, all their flavors are great, but nobody makes Maple ice cream like they do. Also, their scoops are huge. If you only want a normal sized ice cream...cone, get the smallest size. If you get anything more than the smallest size, it’s going to be enormous! (Not necessarily a bad thing, but don’t say you weren’t warned)More

Ice cream dream

We loved it!! We had a ‘blizzard’ aka frozen yogurt with many toppings.... it was delish. The place has seating outside and if you have a quick lunch or dinner at café quai, it’s a great dessert stop.

Delicious and comes with a view

Located right across the street from the pier, it is a great place to stop and reward yourself following an adventure on the water, or just because! There is a good variety of favours and we visited several times during our stay in the area....Service was attentive and our choices handover with a smile. But the best part was enjoying our ice cream while sitting on the anorak chairs facing the water.More

It's a must !

This place deserve the name La cabane a glaces ! It's tiny and charming and they have a huge variety of ice cream, sorbet, vegan ice cream etc. It is most definitely a must if you ever stop at L'Anse Saint Jean

A recently created Ice-Cream place which we loved

It is a small and tiny place, located right next to the Café du Quai and it's worth stopping over after a nice boat or kayak cruise in the Fjord. Home made ice-creams, large choice of tastes and professional staff. Loved it and hope this...young team will be much successful.More

Ice-cream with a view

Nice service good ice-cream they have a large variety of flavours! Though some of the ice-cream was softer than it should have been! You can sit outside enjoying your ice-cream while watching a fabulous view of the fjord!

Great Softserve and Hard Ice Cream Shop

A little gem in L'Anse St-Jean is La Cabane a glaces. In our stay we went back a few times as a family. There is a great selection of hard ice cream and soft serve with a number of great dips. The Sundaes are good...too. It is well worth the stop on a hot summer's day.More
