We visited here for dinner during a week long stay in Llangrannog .. after a disastrous evening across the road in the Pentre. The experience could not have been more different. We had popped in late afternoon to ask if we should book a table (Wednesday) and were assured by the super friendly young barman that we didn't need to... More

Disappointing to say the least. Our first choice here in Llangrannog has always been the Pentre Arms, but last night they were very busy so we thought we would try Y Llong - it had some good reviews in our holiday cottage guest book as well as here on Trip Advisor. We were pleased to be given a table and... More

We were spending a few days in the seaside village of Llangranog. For lunch we decided to eat at the Ship Inn. This premises consists of two floors plus you have benches outside. There is a varied selection of drinks with costs that won't break the bank! Dogs are allowed in the establishment. For lunch I had a baked potato and... More

The title says it all. The pub is very pleasant and the food is good. The location is beautiful, right next to the beach.

We turned up to Y Long The Ship for a drink and some food early one evening, we hadn't booked and could see all tables had a reserved sign in place. I asked the bar man how long we would have to wait and within minutes the land lady greeted us and allocated us a table. We had a nice... More

We were a small party meeting up for lunch. For £12.00 I got some slices of a meat of my choice, one yorkshire and top roast spuds plus assorted veg. Had to request things such as sauces and our vegy friend missed out on the roasties! Got a bit fed up of asking. However, staff very pleasant and food was... More

Everything you could want from a pub whilst on your jolly hollies! A warm welcome, a great friendly staff (hello Griff and Daf ;-)), good wine and beer, tasty and plentiful food. Lovely decor and a thoroughly chilled time whilst we were here. See you next year! X

Great looking food but we could not get any. Arrived 2pm after a long drive from Brum only to find the road closed down to Llangranog.... we would not know that. So turned around and found the free car park at the top. Then walked down. Beautiful day. Took a couple of mins to find a lot closed. So we... More

Visited around New Year and although most of the tables were pre-booked, the helpful staff squeezed us in. You can be sure of a warm welcome and the food is lovely - fish and chips recommended. We had our 2 dogs with us, one of which was just a puppy and the staff were brilliant. Thank you
