We discovered this restaurant only ten days ago and in that time have returned for a second meal as well as a take-away!
Dishes are varied and delicious, there's something for everyone and they are happy to adjust spice levels to your preference. Staff is friendly and efficient. The restaurant is spacious, as is the covered terrace - a plus in these Covid times.
Two of us follow a vegan diet with no grains and the staff were responsive and helpful in ensuring that suitable dishes were prepared. The other diner is an omnivore and had the breadth of the menu to choose from, but even we felt that we had ample choice, which is rare for us.
They offer a lunch menu for €9.90 from Monday to Friday, for eating in. They are open from 13:00h to midnight, which is super convenient and offer take-away service as well as home delivery.

Although away from the beach/port and overlooking the main dual carriageway, this is an excellent restaurant with superb food from an extensive menu. Again a good wine list with glasses coming chilled/frosted for white and rose wine. Spotless linen and linen napkins! Very pleasant and attentive service. There is also a 'menu del dia' during the week which provides an excellent meal. Very realistically priced and with a bottle of decent wine one can dine for two, for 45 Euros. Recommended.

We had an order for 10 people delivered on Sunday April 19th for us to distribute to fa people we have been assisting in the lockdown. The food was delicious in fact beyond delicious it was fantastic. We ordered the previous day as we wanted a specific time and the order was so large. The order was delivered on time and in line with government guidelines to us in Estepona. The order was perfect with no mistakes or substitutions and it was hot and packaged and labelled well. We were able to deliver this to our freinds and to see the smile on their faces on what wouid have been a boring lockdown afternoon was priceless. They were expecting a small sunday dinner but were blown away with the assortment of food they received. A mini banquet on a Sunday !!! Brilliant service from Mini India and we look forward to be able to dine in the restaurant when things are open once more !!

The Good.
Food is good and tasty. Variable heats (mild medium hot) make it easy to try other dishes without risk of blowing your head off. Good location with easy parking close to a main road is very convenient. Internal and external layout is well spaced, although curiously there is less food on your plate than if you have the same dish as a takeaway. Tables clean and chairs adequately comfortable. We have been here quite a lot of times as the food is good. Cloth table napkins are nice to use and are a decent size and thick. The toilets are clean and had toilet roll and paper towels. Good.
The Average.
When the boss is away service is a bit less that welcoming. People just do what they have to do and that’s it. Today one of our dinner plates was dirty but it was changed promptly. Background music generally OK but today rather loud and intrusive.
The Bad.
One of the waiters wasn’t wearing his mask, except over his chin. I asked him to put it on properly as he was leaning over tables and clients. He argued a bit but reluctantly put it on over his mouth and nose very begrudgingly. Later I saw him inside dealing with takeaway food without his mask on again and talking closely with another member of staff. If this kind of selfish and arrogant behaviour is general in the restaurant and kitchen that’s very bad news. Today was our first trip out to the restaurant for many months although we have been having regular takeaways, but this will now sadly have to stop with this kind of attitude. We are both older and can’t take risks with care less people. Luckily there are plenty of other restaurants around.
Generally a pity as this could easily be a five star restaurant. Just needs a little care and attention to details.

Rently order a take away for 3 people, the food arrived in reaonable time and was of a good quality but was way overpriced at 48 euro. I know we are living in lockdown and things are tight but a delivery charge of 3 Euro for less than half a mile distance was over the top
Overall better out there for the money will not be back.
In summary good but too expensive for what was on offer

A most enjoyable, relaxed lunch with a dozen friends. The menu del dia offered an excellent range of dishes to suit all tastes. The food was all freshly cooked & delicious and the service was friendly, attentive and efficient.

Very good Indian restaurant. We have been here on numerous occasions over the years and always had a very warm welcome and very good Indian food. The starters are quite large so we always share. I would recommend this restaurant every day of the week. My favourite Indian in Costa Del Sol.

We have been to the restaurant several times but have been using the delivery service during lockdown. The food is always fantastic and staff always willing to help. We look forward to visiting soon, when we can get there! Prawn purée is fantastic!

As the title of this review suggests you will have to go a long way to get a better Indian meal on this stretch of the coast.
I don't often write reviews anymore unless the establishment really deserve it, this one does. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the food is excellent and the decor first class not dull and dingy but bright and airy. This restaurant is about 5 mins past the port entrance but believe me its is well worth making the effort. My feelings are that being a little out of the centre of things and sitting on top of a supermarket they know that they have to try harder and boy do they do so.
This has now become our go to Indian restaurant.

Partner had a prawn korma, which was shocking so much fish sauce she had to leave it. Mine at best average which was a chicken jalfrezi, service ok but when we said it was poor and average they forgot how to communicate, and just handed us the bill. The price is high, which is not a problem if the food was at least slightly above par. Maybe a bad day in the kitchen or a new chief but this was our first and now last time.

Although this restaurant is not in the main part of the Duquesa port area please make the effort to find it, we had one of the best Indian meals we have ever eaten. The restaurant is smart, comfortable, spacious & reasonably priced. The service was excellent, the staff were attentive but not intrusive, we could not find anything negative about our dining experience.

Excellent atmosphere, cuisine and staff very courteous and polite. Well worth a visit, or a few, went for lunch and a few dinners and ordered different things, all were delicious and portions large. My partner became a bit unwell one night and they packed up our meal and offered assistance which thankfully we didn't need. 5 star all round.

Went for the menu del dia this afternoon . 9.90€ for stater( 3 options) main course ( good selection to choose from)and bowl of ice cream.(yum), given option of either rice or Nan bread, to have with mains. We would normally get one rice one Nan bread and share between us. But there was not enough in it to share with someone. Portions are small with main course.
Food was very tasty and flavoursome, service was excellent. Only let down was portion size, I have eaten at other Indian restaurant’s and had the menu of the day, where portions are much bigger .

Always excellent food and service. We go roughly once a week and always have the menu del día, which is really good value. All the waiters are very friendly and the service is second to none. We can thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

Had pre booked our table, staff friendly opon arrival, had a great table next to the window. extensive menu to choose from, we ordered 2 Indian beers( Cobra) and 1 cider, they brought us immediately 2 very large bottles and 3 extreme large glasses, something you would see in a beer pub, and for 1 lady and 1 89year old lady, this was definitely not what we would expect, let alone order!, We did not understand why our waiter was thinking serving us as we were all " drunks" . Very disappointing to be left with something we did not order now wanted. Nobody else in this restaurant was served such large bottles and glasses. We complained obviously, and the manager told us he will charge us the small bottle price, but that is not the solution, we still were stuck with too much beer and 3 extra large beer glasses, awful service , as we were NEVER asked if we prefer a small, normal bottle or large and our preferences with the glasses. It was never about the price, but the shocking assumption of the waiter that thought he had to serve us "booze" rather than ordinary drinks with our lunch,! The food was lovely cooked and the atmosphere was good.
