After fabulous food right throughout Taranaki this was forgettable. Extremely rude woman at the counter, when I asked the lady a question she literally put her head in her hands. Busy Anzac Day and the staff struggled which strained the atmosphere. Food was good! Average coffee and good cabinet selection.

Recommended by a friend. Great menu with lots of choice. Very good coffee. Hubby had 4 egg omelette and couldn't finish it. One of the best he has had. Staff helpful and friendly in particular Michaela was lovely.

Been here plenty of times. Cabinets are always full with a great selection. Today was coffee with Nectarine muffin. Nice chatty young lady serving. If you are taking the coast road make some time to stop it's worth it

We visited the above named cafe to-day for lunch. It is about 3 years since I was last here and I must say the food and selection thereof is excellent. It is a lovely little cafe in the middle of the Opanake township. Whilst there you must go out into the garden and visit Lulu some of the articles therein... More

We were driving the 'surf highway - 45' from New Plymouth and took a break in Opunake. Popped into the Sugar Juice cafe for a cup of tea and bite to eat. Excellent range of cabinet food - my wife loved the fruit slice and the scones were great too. Good range of teas and coffees and they serve breakfast... More

this cafe has a lovely selection of cabinet food, yummy coffee and a lovely shop. One little disappointment we came in for coffee at 3.30 and it didnt shut until 4.00 but we couldnt sit down it was takeaway only. Perhaps this could be looked at??

Food is decent, although some items are overpriced for size of servings in my view. Visited several times on my recent stay in Opunake, and most of the time it was great. I loved the gorgeous outside dining area, but our visit one day wasn't improved by a team member who was smoking in the outside dining area while she... More

Great little spot to stop if you're heading round the mountain. Good range of food in the cabinet as well as on the black board. My savoury scone stack (bacon, cheese and mushroom on a scone drizzled with pesto) went down a treat, as did my wife's gluten free toast and jam. Normal pricing (compared to Wellington), about $6 for... More

We went to this cafe today as a result of Trip Advisor recommendations - I am pleased we did - the cabinet food choices were great, everything is made at the cafe and really lovely - we had various slices as well as hot food, the chicken pie was really lovely, the caramel slice was apparently heaven as was the... What a pleasant surprise. A lovely cafe in this beach town. The tea was nice and the cake yummy. Prices average. Live music in the outdoor courtyard very pleasant.
