One of the best in Playa de Cura!

Delicious food and excellent friendly service. I had takeaways of hummus, chicken, fish, which were freshly-made, made to a high standard and very good quality ingredients. There's a specific Moroccan menu you can ask for- Definitely worthwhile. Prices are good value. As a personal preference I felt the restaurant's chairs and tables were too close together and felt quite closed in-not airy. Definitely check out this very good restaurant!

Fantastic food and great service

My husband and I ate here twice during our visit to Playa del Cura. We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed our evening. I am a vegetarian and there were a few options, which is a bonus as it can be difficult to find options for vegetarians in smaller resorts. On the first occasion my husband the Lamb Tagine and I had Spinach Birwst, bruschetta and hummus. My husband thought the lamb Tagine was excellent and I really enjoyed my meal. On our second visit my husband had a beef dish and I had Falafel, garlic bread & Hummus (cannot remember the exact dish my husband had) Again the food was fantastic! As with all places in Playa del cura, the drinks measures were huge,my husband had bottled Strongbow, and I drank vodka As a light drinker I found one drink was more than enough We felt the service and attentiveness of the staff was fantastic and you will not be disappointed if you visit the Taste of Marrakesh Thank you for 2 great evenings :)

Friendly restaurant, delicious food

The menu looked tempting so we had our dinner here. And it was a good choice! The staff was very friendly as was the whole atmosphere in the restaurant. We went for the Moroccan menu, I had a delicious plate of fried aubergine with honey for entrees and vegetable couscous for main course. The couscous had plenty of taste and came with big chunks of fresh vegetables presented beautifully. For dessert we asked for some Moroccan mint tea, and what we got was likely the best pot of mint tea I've ever had. I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant!

We asked recommendation and took what they offered, grilled fish. I think we ate the same kind of fish (propably frozen) at many of the Playa del Cura places. Best of the shopping mall places we tried, though.

OK, bit of an uncomfy atmosphere

Bit of an odd waiter, seemed over friendly but then laughed manically...made you feel a bit uncomfortable. Food was OK, I had the chicken and couscous (chicken on the bone), my partner had the veal meatballs which were served with a bread roll. Bit of a shame, as I had high expectations about the food, as I love Moroccan food. This restaurant is in the mall complex of restaurants and bars in Playa del Cura, possibly the same kitchen as the Steak House, which was much better.

Great service, great food!

Only in this resort for one night and we mooched around looking at menus for a bit before deciding on here (most restaurants lean towards Italian food and we fancied something a bit different). Our waiters were fabulous and gave us just enough attention. Our starters were great; my boyfriend thought his tagine as good as any he has had in Morocco; and my steak was beautifully cooked and so tender. I had it "berber-style" which was lovely but a bit sweet for my taste so I scraped the remaining fruit off at the end - but that's MY taste. The meat itself was fabulous. We were given a little digestif of a local liqueur, too. Definitely recommend; the remainder of our break isn't far away and we are seriously thinking about grabbing a cab to go back before we leave.

Fantastic Food & Staff

We found this restaurant on our first day in Playa de Cura. The location was great with sea views. The staff were really friendly. We had cous cous salad, hummus & pitta bread and lamb kebabs which were to die for - tasty and cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back during our stay here!

Worst restaurant meal I have ever had. Garlic bread...dry and burnt stale old roll with some cheap garlic mayonnaise. Salad...tinned mango and pineapple with a few tired salad leaves. Chicken tajine...three small pieces of dry old boiler hen, two black olives, two tinned prunes, no rice or vegetables, too salty, too much stock, nothing else. Dreadful rubbissh and over- priced. Utterly hateful meal!

Visited this new restaurant from good reviews, not much choice of restaurants in Playa del cura so have it a go. The food is good. However the waiters are very enthusiastic and over friendly then not so after you have paid the bill. The menu needs more description for each dish. And they need a wine list.

A very clean, well-run restaurant, with competent, committed staff and excellent cuisine. No matter what was ordered, everything was of high quality. There were no complaints in the 14 days we were there. Communication worked perfectly, as the staff were multilingual. Many thanks to the entire team and warm greetings from Mannheim

New place for something different

Lamb tagine to die for. This is a newly opened restaurant next door to the steak House. Nice atmosphere, good wine , friendly staff that are genuinely passionate about their food. Hope they continue producing great food.

A welcome change from the usual restaurants in area. Tasty Moroccan food. Plenty of choices. Also steak available. And the tastiest home made chips I’ve had in a long time. Worth a visit
