If you are looking for an easy going small French restaurant then here it is. We chose from the 15€ menu which was excellent value. We both had steak accompanied by salad and chips, followed by a very tasty sweet. The owner spoke very good English and was very welcoming. A good experience all round.

The food here is absolutely first rate… Some nice ideas e.g. the Port Jelly with the Foie Gras and the homemade rillettes. The confit duck was sublime, I have never tasted a confit so good.. If you’re passing by Le Mans, give this place a try… Yes it’s a bit quirky, but it’s a genuine, family run place and it... More

Last saturday evening we had the a meal there, it was the best meal we have had for a long time (we live part time in France and travel a lot). The host and Hostess were their usual amiable selfs. The... More

We've stopped here for lunch a couple of times whilst driving past Le Mans on our way from the Channel Ports to the Loire Valley, and both times have enjoyed a good lunch in pleasant (though slightly quirky!) surroundings. The menu offers 3 course for E21 or 4 courses for E27, and is excellent value for money. The wine list... More

We stop as often as we can at this family run restaurant during journeys from Northern France to the South West, and try hard to time our journey so lunch coincides with passing Le Mans! The welcome from the owner is always friendly and the food is fresh, well cooked and tasty. The ambiance is good, surroundings pleasant, and altogether... More
