We stopped here on our way to Italy. This restaurant has a nice garden, with some children play equipment (trampoline ..) . In the garden we had a cold platter of meats and cheeses and a salad. The children had a hamburger / nugget menu with fries. With it a hal bottle of local white wine. All very satisfying for... More

Stopped there by chance as a dinner break on a trip back to Switzerland. We ordered a simple Manu as quicker option and were pleasantly surprised.... Magret de canard was delicious! Service was quick polite and professional. Worth going back

very good service, good food and good ambience. Good waiter service, parking space next door. A bit far away if you do not have a car, but lots of parking

Walked in, looked great, play area for kids etc. ignored for a few minutes then girl came over barked no twice and we left. I will tell all of my friends how exquisitely rude they were.

La Catogne is on the road to the Col du St Bernard. We were surprised by the quality and the perfect service in this place. The food was fantastic. The bottle of wine they did advise was perfect. Even if you are hungry, you will have enough food.

We perceive La Catonia as our home restaurant and dine there once or twice a month with friends or family for the last 8 years and never failed. Located at the entrance to the Valle Ferret in the Swiss Alps, 2 kilometers from Orsieres, on a main road to the Italy border, it exists for more than 60 years. Originally... More

Drove past this restaurant many times and there were always cars parked outside so we thought it must be worth a try. Since we first discovered it we've been back many times. Friendly service and good honest food. I enjoy eating in the small courtyard garden although it is beside the main road. I would certainly recommend it.

Discovered this place having come through the Grand Saint Bernard tunnel from Italy. We just had a light lunch. I had a sandwich and my wife had a salad. The food was just what we wanted, the prices were reasonable and the service was good. What more do you want as a hungry traveler? If we pass this way again,... More

Based on the previous reviews, we went to this restaurant. Prices are reasonable and the welcome is warm. But I think we did not have luck about what we ordered: Mushrooms "chanterelles" were bitter, full of water and the sauce had not taste. The kids fish stick were still frozen. I think the regular cook was not present or they... More

We found this place by an absolute accident while on our way to Verbier town, we got lost. We came across this little village (well more like 3-4 houses on both sides of the road) and saw a very cheesy-looking sign for the restaurant. We really had a very low opinion of what might be inside. But what a delight... More
