We're mostly customers for the catering / take away side of the business. Along the years, we enjoyed a continuous offering of tasty and healthy food preparations. We enjoyed them either as last minute after the work take-aways or through bespoke order for various family and social occasions. My fav's: - lemon grass sticks (sultan, coriander and lemon grass) -... More

Creative dishes in a nice atmosphere. A great choice also for take-away dishes if you do not like to cook for yourself or friends/family. More vegetarian dishes please based on fresh vegetables.

Great place for a bite to eat especially when visiting the market . Food is freshly cooked and tastes homemade. Very nicely presented and lots of it, for a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and shop and will be returning soon with my family.

From outside you don't recognise the restaurant, even when you enter the store you don't imagine there is upstairs a restaurant. The decoration and seating is different to other restaurants. More young & fresh, 'simple' but with love to the details. The variety of the food is good and most of the time good. Lemon water is free of charge.... More

On a Saturday morning this would be a good place to take visitors who love local markets and then go for lunch at the Fonteyne Kitchen or take it home, that way you can indulge in fresh oysters shucked before your eyes with a glass of vino of course on the main section of the market. The market is bustling... More

We have gotten plenty of their pre-made stuff to take home to eat and it is all very tasty. My husband had eaten here for lunch and had such a great experience that he decided to bring the kids and I here when we first moved to Brussels. We had such an awful lunch here. We ordered our food and... More

The noodles I ordered at the shop in Tongres were perfect, the presentation was also very nice. The "soupe aux légumes oubliés" I took as a starter was very good too. Nice shop that sells different kinds of dishes, from desserts to filled courgettes. And very clean toilets too (rarely seen them that clean in Brussels) !

I had today the most awful experience in restaurant Fonteyne, Brussels. First I waited 30 minutes for my ravioli. Then I saw it served by misstake to another customer who put his fork and knife to work right away. Within seconds his plate was taken away, the right one served...and my ravioli was taken to kitchen and then brought to... More

I am a regular customer at Fonteyne near Place Dumon. I used to love it and the whole concept attached to it - healthy and varied food at affordable prices. However, during the past few months I have noticed that the quality of the food has worsened - it tastes more "industrial"/mass procuded and quickly reheated. Furthermore, when the restaurant... Been here several times for lunch. Relaxed atmosphere, great food that is affordably priced. Part of the menu changes every day. I recommend the Scampi Coconut soup. Also the traiteur downstairs is good, although there isn't too much variation. Great place to go with kids.
