I go there often after a film in Cine le Stockel. It is the only place in Stockel where it is possible also to have just a drink. Inside it is pleasant, whith separate places to seat - by the fireplace, at the bar, on the covered terraces. At the open air terraces plaids are available in case it is... More

This is a casual brasserie with very friendly service without being overbearing. The food is nothing spectacular as it does not try to be as cool as some of the other places in the same street but it is not at all bad and suitable for business lunches at midday or entertaining friends or family in the evening.

Friendly staff and a warm welcome. Traditional brasserie with very nice veranda area. Good for couples, solo or groups. Nice menu with excellent steak and mussels (when in season). Top quality food at reasonable prices. Am a regular visitor and would recommend highly.

Shake Hands is a standard local brasserie offering the same menu items that hundreds of brasseries. The restaurant has three dining areas, outside terrace, inside in the atrium, and within the main restaurant area. Having eaten at Shake Hands three times we have found the food to be good tasting and in small portions. The prices are above average in... More

We went to this brasserie type of restaurant twice. Once we had a nice birthday lunch. We had a good fish but overtly expensive, for what? The other time we went for a coffee. We did not go again although we live in the area for about 10 years now.

We visit regularly this restaurant in Stokkel. Having a 2 year old I always look for restaurants which make us feel at home and which make my son feel most welcome. The food is great and every time we visited we always were amazed by the high quality of the food presented and the friendly staff.

Restaurant is child and dog friendly. Food is very good and waiters are very pleasant. They have a good children's menu with plenty of food. Cost of dinner for 4 adults and 1 child with drinks included was very reasonable. Would recommend it.

The food is excellent. Try the sole meunière, one of the best I've had. The filet américain is also really good if you like raw meat. For dessert you must try their pancakes. Service is excellent and staff really nice. Ask for a table in one of the verandas. The main part is a little old and stuffy, the veranda... More
