Dropped by for lunch during a visit to the area. Very bustling but a lovely atmosphere. We ordered crab sandwiches and smoked kipper. The kipper that my partner ordered looked amazing. My crab sandwiches were very tasty, but ought to have been on granary bread rather than bog standard wholemeal. This may have been an option - I certainly wish... More

We visited on a cold November lunchtime when there were very few other visitors to Craster. The cafe is located at the top of a small bank up from the harbour, past the kipper smoker. I had a coronation chicken sandwich which was obviously home made judging by the large lumps of chicken. The curried mayo was delicious and full... More

Cold but bright day in Craster, needing that lunchtime heat up we saw the sign for shoreline, chowder on menu. Lovely warm an welcoming staff, nice small layout Chowder, smoked haddock, it was nearly right, a little cool, and needed seasoning, which is a pity as it had all good things going for it, nice and thick, good mix of... We visited the Shoreline Cafe twice this week for tea and cake. If your walk starts and finishes at Craster there's no other choice except the pub. The cakes are good and the tea ok but a slightly larger jug of extra hot water or larger pot would have been appreciated. One pot and jug of hot water for two... More

After a long walk with our dogs it was good to find Shoreline Cafe in the centre of Craster. Firstly a good welcome is always well received and we got that. The service was excellent too. More particularly the food and drink was perfect and reasonably priced. It's a well laid out cafe, very clean with well chosen decor. Another... More

We were camping nearby and called in here for numerous reasons. We arrived at 0930 (they don't open until 1000, which we didn't realise). They were absolutely fantastic. Despite the fact they were busy setting up, they were happy to make us a coffee (which was delicious). The (twin) sisters were kindness personified and even let us use their 'house'... More

Stopped here for coffee and very fruity scones this morning. Lots of different tray bakes and cakes it is difficult to choose, adventurous combinations of ingredients. Staff very friendly, nothing too much trouble. Made a fuss of dog and offered a bowl of fresh water. Nice sunny terrace but no problem for dogs to go inside.
