Three out of our four meals were disappointing. Battered fish over done and dry, one even with burnt batter and the Lancashire Cheese pie had very little cheese in it. We will not be returning or recommending this place.

Excellent roast, had the duo option with two meats. Great service, great views. Not cheap but reasonable prices for this kind of place.

Visited the boat house last night for dinner with the outlaws. It's got a lovely feel and looks like there has been some redecorating and furniture We were greeted to find out that the sole and steak pie were not available Which was a shame...More

Description
With magnificent views of the Dee Estuary its no surprise that Parkgate has a reputation as somewhere to eat whilst enjoying the beautiful British coastline. As could be expected, it’s our fish and shellfish selection that we take a particular pride in, the offerings extensive, the produce fresh and the preparation lovingly cared for.
