Called on way back from Observatory. Lots of room, tasty pub food, kids loved giant Yorkshire pudding with Cumberland sausage within. Very reasonable prices.

Do not be put off by the exterior of the Anglers Arms, for once inside you will experience a friendly reception from both the locals and staff alike. Four of us enjoyed dinner with us all having a different choice which were all served well cooked and piping hot, portions were well able to satisfy the most hungry diner, whilst... More

Staying at the camp site visited for a drink first night (Friday) and had a meal Saturday. This was one of the most friendliest pubs I've ever been in. The bar staff were genuinely interested in talking to us, and making sure our visit was enjoyable. Hand pulled beer was great, and we enjoyed our meal in the restaurant Saturday... More

This is the only pup in Kielder village and the food was great. 4 different types of food were ordered of an extensive menu and all of them were of great quality and flavour. The pub itself isn't the greatest inside but the food well makes up for this.

Looks an average local pub from outside and inside but the meals are absolutely outstanding pub grub. Portions are huge and quality/taste is fabulous. A hidden gem.

My husband and I visited last Friday with our two border collies. A warm welcome for all 4 of us on a snowy February afternoon. We both had the Kielder Cobler which was delicious with lots of good quality meat and a delicious pastry. Veg was a little cold but that's my only niggle. Background music was really good and...
