While the food tastes nice, the portions are small! Most of the staff were lovely, but they all appeared to lack training. It was almost like it was their first day working there! They just seemed unsure of what they were supposed to be doing. Unfortunately I wouldn't go back as I don't like feeling ripped off!

An easy drive from Canberra over some beautiful country. The food was very interesting, tasty and nicely presented in a wonderful setting. We shared the Chacuterie platter and ordered a side of green beans with chili and garlic, fresh from the garden. Combined with wine tasting from the Wily Trout Winery tasting room which is in the same building our... More

Very professional staff. Seem to work well together as a team. No waiting around and courses served promptly. Best dessert I've had this year! Sauvignon Blanc parfait with thin Granny Smith apple slices and other secret ingredients. Many goodies to stock up your pantry for Xmas in the tasting bar area. A pleasant half hour drive into the countryside from... More

Staff were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent and definitely good size servings. The wine was delicious and the wiley trout chardonnay matched our food perfectly. The view from our table was also spectacular. Highly recommend this place for a couple or for friends catch up over nice wine and tasty food....we'll be back!

Very romantic gastronomic atmosphere. Great wine list. Never disappointed. For winter - get close to the fire! A bonus is that you can take home the smoked produce.

We went mainly to check out the smoke house, but stayed for lunch & a wine tasting. Was disappointed that the only meats for purchase were already sliced and pre-packed, & the cool room was so cold it did not encourage browsing the products available. Enjoyed the Wild Trout wines & the tasting area is most attractive. An interesting menu and... More

Just love this place. It's location is on the outskirts of Canberra away from the hustle and bustle and located on a rural property with a beautiful setting. Sitting outside in the sun for breakfast or lunch seems like you are miles away from a capital city. The service is good with an outstanding menu. They also sell a wonderful... More

Went for lunch on a Sunday with friends. Service was slow and waiting staff appeared confused with orders, bringing orders to our table that were meant for another table. I had the lamb which was very fatty and the meal overall was bordering on just being warm.

The revamp has really opened up the floor. The counter and tasting area for Wild Trout wines are now a feature. The revamp allows many more table to face the glass and the sunshine while being protected from the elements. The menu read well and did deliver. It is great to be able to have a wine tasting and then... More

Well here it is. An old country homestead set in the rolling hills outside the bustle of the city. You come here for the food and of course their delightful small goods but it is the delightful peaceful setting that make your day something special. Food and wine are the added bonus to complement the gardens and the views. As... More
