We had a variety of dishes from breakfast to light lunch and it was all lovely! A group of six sitting round a round table worked very well! The venue is lovely, the staff were so helpful, we will certainly come again.

Spent £34 on afternoon tea for two. None of the cakes were home made and the sandwiches were made with flavourless cheap bread. The turkey was of the cheap and bland variety. Altogether everything was very disappointing and very expensive. Anyone can stick a few cheap cakes on a posh plate and make them look pretty. My husband and I... More
Haven't been here for a while but pleased we went. Booked in advance which was a good job as the place looked full. Up market restaurant in a nice location. £35 gets you 3 courses - bit limited if your a veggie but such is life. Live music in the main bar - not too loud. Waiting staff were very... More

We had a table booked for afternoon tea for a family members birthday. Unfortunately we had no choice but to cancel 20 minutes before the booking as that family member was taken ill. We were regular visitors to The Spiced Pear a few years ago and used to really enjoy amazing Friday dining whilst listening to the brilliant resident pianist James. we went for an evening meal with friends. the staff were excellent and the food was brilliant. the cost was £35 fixed per head. if I had any criticism it would be that it was all a bit quick. we had to slow them down with the courses. thoroughly recommend
The Spiced Pear was all it advertised and more! I went on a Friday night with a friend for the supper stand which was to die for! All the food was delicious and presented to a very high standard and great value for money. All the staff were helpful and couldn't do enough for you. The highlight of our night... More
My husband and I have had a lot of happy memories and not to mention some of the best meals at the spiced pear. We were very excited to learn that they had a regular Friday and Saturday night service on again under new management. So I booked online for 8pm for what I thought was dinner, however was instantly... More
I went to The Spiced Pear with a group of nine other friends. We all had the Afternoon Tea and all I can say was that it was very average and some of the cakes were slightly stale. Two of the group asked for coffee rather than tea and were then charged an extra £3 for this which we didn't... More
