"You have to go to Oistins" There's mixed reviews for good reason. I don't think it's particularly authentic but rather an opportunity to congregate tourists into one area to spend some cash. Every minute you have someone demanding you to check out their food or...More

Nice small area to get groceries and supplies. The grocery store carries lots of choice. There is a bank and gas station along with many vendors. Also a post office if you are looking to send a postcard Very active place. People are very friendly

About 15 restaurants all offering fish. We ate at Pats which grilled the fish right in front of us and then we sat on benches and enjoyed our meal. The prices were very reasonable. You need to get there early before it becomes very crowded.

This is traditional Barbados all over and it’s just as interesting if a little sleepier during the day compared to Friday night fish fry - definitely visit during the day

I think is a best kept secret, and am not sure if many tourists go there to purchase fresh fish. We just returned from holidays where we stayed in a villa with our own kitchen and we purchased fresh marlin steaks for dinner for four...More
