Friday night is the busiest time, and will offer both touristy and local experiences. From the Pop music on one end of the market to the formal ballroom dancing on the other end, you can truly find your niche at Oistins. Get there early, be...More

Oistins is the place to be on Friday Nights if you want exceptionally good food. We visited at least three times and during the big Friday event where we ate at the famous Uncle George grill. Since this was our first time, they brought us...More

Really busy hustle and bustle. Lots of authentic places to eat and a stage with live bands. Everyone experiences at least once. Take the reggae bus for $2 rather than hotel transport as it may be to busy for some.

If your in Barbados on friday night you have to get to the fish fry. Great food, great atmosphere, lot of fun hanging out with the locals. Best of all it won’t break the bank.

This is busy, noisy and the food is generally fairly average. This is a popular Friday night location, but as it has become so popular, standards have fallen away. The aims seems to get you in and fed as quickly as possible, so that the...More

A tourist attraction that didn't sit well with me despite the fact that I'm quite a good tourist - in fact I couldn't wait to leave the chaos. OK - I'm the wrong side of 60 and enjoy good food, what we had was below...More

Hi Penny, I'm not 100% sure but from my experience it's not gluten-free. Oistins serves mainly fresh fish and seafood with starchy accompaniments. If nothing appeals then maybe just go for the atmosphere! Have a great time... More
