The girl at the front of the place was very frendly and the fish seemed fresh, so we hoped in. But the experience wasn't overall so good. First they didn't have the dishes I wanted to order, nor the drinks. In the end had to take noodles with beef, they tasted ok, but nothing special. Also had prawns. It was... More

Cheap food. Small portion. Taste good. Friendly staff. Need to order several different dishes if you're hungry. We enjoy it.

A great restaurant off of one of the main roads on Phu Quoc island. A great and tasty selection of dishes, good drinks and a very friendly and attentive staff. The dishes are authentic Vietnamese and the restaurant is a definite must during your stay on the island.

We ate here and were really happy with the food. It was tasty and came out quite quickly. A previous reviewer has commented on the fact that it didn't all come out together but this was our experience in pretty much all the restaurants we ate in. The food comes out as and when it is ready. Makes you chuckle... More

Whilst I can't rave about it, there is nothing to complain about either. The menu is similar to all others in that price range, but the food was slightly better and the service was friendlier than most AND they had tablecloths. You can't really complain about perfectly acceptable food - 2 people eating 2 courses with beer and water -... More

The restaurant appeared quite full; often a good sign but in the case that was a misconception. We ordered chilli shrimp (of which only four were served), squid with salt and chilli, a vegetable dish and rice. The dishes appeared one at a time over a period off about a quarter of an hour and so the food was already... More

Like a few restaurants around the Island, especially Duong Dong this restaurant is closed, not sure if it is permanent or just for the low season.

Great mix of local and international food. Good value, extremely tasty and a very sound bet amongst some hit and miss options nearby. Don't expect shrimps on the barbie.

Phu Quoc doesn't have a ton of restaurant to choose from, and we have been dining twice a day for the last three days at the same great little place called Hai Nam. The food is great, the prices great, and while the service is a bit slow, the wait is generally worth the wait. But today, we wanted to... More

Avoid this place! We got sick after eating here. The food must be one of the worst on this island. Should have run away when we saw the toilets almost attached to their "kitchen".
