An excellent experience in a lovely setting. Good food, exceptional service followed by a pleasant lakeside walk. Highly recommended.

We had a great meal and hope to return for another while we are in Tipperary area. Live music in the next room was a delight with mixture of fast-paced tunes and ballads. When we arrived, the guy behind the bar greeted us though he was busy. The front rooms were full so we meandered to the back area (with... More

The Derg Inn is a nice gastro pub in the gorgeous little village Terryglass. The menu is varied and the food is well prepared. However, the fish n chips was somewhat weird. It was baked (not deep fried) in a crispy dough just tasting flour.

Terryglass itself is absolutely wonderful so the general atmosphere of the pub/restaurant just continues this. After a short walk down to the Latina it's lovely to go for a nice relaxed meal with a beer or wine. Lovely food and we will definitely be back.

Terryglass is a really lovely spot and the Derg Inn is very well presented. We visited for dinner with our two children one evening. The prices on the menu were quite high, which we wouldn't have minded as mostly the food was very tasty. The only thing that let it down was the cheap frozen chips it was served with.... More

My Mum took me here - it's a lovely little place. We went early (about 5.30) on a Thursday & there were a few tables occupied. Menu is not overly complicated with good food. Staff are there if you need them. Very near the local marina and the village is very picturesque & well kept. Local church is very quaint.

Shared a wonderful lunch here today. All of the meals were delicious and service was great too! Fish and chips were served piping hot and had great flavor.
