Went there on New Years Eve afternoon with three kids. We ordered a la carte, (not specials), very disappointed with the food. We ordered three adult starters, (one to share amongst the kids) the only starter that was hot was the kids nachos that were...More

went there with a group, the atmosphere is good, the decor is nice, but the food is awful and the service slow. So on the menu we had dry sea bass, dry unseasoned risotto with a few peas in it... the chips tasted the same...More

Seven of us dined here on a Monday evening. Food and service were good. The fudge cake was a treat! Everyone enjoyed their meal and we were not rushed out of the place. Pleasant spot to spend a couple of hours.

Stopped for lunch, delicious food, really lovely venue, great choice on menu and very good service. Would love to stop by some winter evening with fire lit!

Not a bad looking pub with nice staff. However, with only one person serving (who was very nice) the service was very slow. A tired roll, gloupy soup and over done crap claws arrived eventually. It felt like they'd given up. Won't be going back.

Stopped off here for a bite to seat on a Saturday evening. It was early enough not to have any issue getting a table. Was tempted by the pizza oven but ended up being swayed by the chicken burger. My husband had a beef burger...More

My husband, 2 children and I visited The Weir this afternoon for lunch but won't be back for a return visit. I ordered Sea Bass which at 18.95 was very disappointing, the fish itself was fine, but the mash with it was over-salted, the sauce...More

Driving through ashford on a Sunday afternoon my husband and I decided to try the Wier restaurant for Sunday lunch. We entered what looked like a beautiful gastro pup with grey panelling and high ceilings, beams and arty looking menus on chalk boards we really...More
