We were in Tobago for a month and went to Caribbean Kitchen 3 times! Loved the views, local, organic food amazing! Wines are the best selection on whole island. Prices comparable to home! Grilled Mahi Mahi, lime/coconut shrimp. Curried goat, spinach risotto, aubergine tomato choka, potato wedges, chocolate mousse, passionfruit cheesecake....everything homemade and delicious! Would definitely recommend this restaurant! Reading... More

If you're looking for authentic cuisine you'd be better off walking into Castara. The food here is alright with some slightly more exciting options, which you won't find in the village (e.g Jamaican jerk chicken). Although, the supper here definitely isn't the best in Castara. The service is pretty poor, too: it took us about 20 mins to even be... More

I ate here with my husband and the food was delicious. We enjoyed starters of spinach and ricotta ravioli and fishcakes and mains of meatballs and curried lamb. Everything was really tasty. The potato wedges are amazing! We also arrived early and enjoyed 2-4-1 cocktails at the happy hour (5-6pm) and watched the sunset over the bay-the view from the... More

We stayed at Castara Retreats in February, and were so taken with the restaurant that we ate there frequently during our week's stay. Very good food, well presented, friendly service by everyone, and the cocktails...well; I wasn't a fan of rum until I tried their Pina Colladas, then couldn't stop! Everything written about the view is correct, but can't do... More

We stayed at Castara Retreats and enjoyed a couple wonderful meals here. The food was fantastic and the views could not be more perfect. If you are staying here and decide to enjoy cooking your own fresh fish definitely ask for take out potato wedges and enjoy a wonderful rum punch.

We ate here on many occasions during our 2 week stay at Castara Retreats. The menu is small but I could have happily eaten here for another 2 weeks without getting bored. The Catch of the Day was always a treat and the Lamb Curry, Wow. I manage to sample most of the Virgin Cocktails and thoroughly recommend. The service... More

We had a good meal there but nothing out of the ordinary and it was quite expensive. You can get as good and even better meals else where in Castara Bay for much less The view is nice, you see the sunset and they have hummingbird feeders so lots of hummingbirds.

A bit more expensive than the other places but worth it. This is the place in Castara that offers something else and more than the other restaurants (which all have similar menues). Some favourites were Catch of the Day (Bonito), the Sirloin Steak, the Shrimps (starter), the Spinnach Ravioli. Happy Hour (17-18). Half price on Castara's best drink offers.

Drove over on Saturday. Booked in for an evening meal with newly acquired friends from Wales who were staying in the superb accomodation. There can't be many better dining venues on the island. This looks straight down onto the fantastic beach, with the sun sinking behind us. After a happy rum punch, great food, all fresh, cooked in really modern... More
