Unfortunately I have been visiting this restaurant for the last 6 years, throughout the year. During my last visit with my family and friends from abroad, I decided to let them taste the local food but I was very much dissapointed. At 22:30 the traditional food was out of stock and could not be served, and when the substitute pasta... More

This place was reciommended to us by a friend who lives in Paleo, and we weren't disappointed! The service is outstanding and the food georgeous. We ordered 5 meals between four of us as we couldn't decide which meat to have! We all thoroghly enjoyed the food though - the meat disappeared very quickly, although there was a load of... More

We stopped off here for a bite to eat following our visit to the Corfu Donkey Rescue in Paleokastritsa. Both the waiters that served us were very friendly and hospitable young men, and nothing was too much trouble for them. We would definitely visit here again for food if we were in the area plus Doukades is a cosy little... More

We tried coal cooked meat (chicken and pork chops). Finely cooked, tasty! No traditional atmosphere despite the location

This place is a gem. On a little square in a tiny village, unassuming and a delight. A local friend said it was one of favorite places on the island and I can see why. We had a never ending lunch with good friends and locals. Great Tajikistan, sausages, fried feta, pastas, rooster, pork, wine and drinks. The food kept... More

Situated not far from Paleokastritsa, this typical greek village is a little gem. Fantastic tavernas, restaurants around the lovely square with its church and shade trees. The chocolate brioche from tge bakery is the best I have ever tasted!

We saw the village mentioned in a guide and we decided to give it a try. You need a car to reach it. We drove from Nisaki. You can leave the car some 200m away from the main village square is a marked parking lot. The drive is pleasant and easy but beware of the small streets in the village.... More

Good food friendly service dislike the dogs around the tables The food is consitently good. The village of Doukades is beautiful, enjoy a drink from the shop/bar sitting in the village square before your meal. Doukas never disappoints and I had excellent food many times here. The seating area outside is lovely, round olive trees but the local dogs run... More
