We walked over to Los Abrigos from El Medano on the coastal path. So when we got here we were pretty hungry. We'd been recommended this restaurant and it did not disappoint. We had Langoustines, calamari, mussels and Sama with Canarian potatoes. Absolutely delicious.

There is no menu, you just pick a fish and order your side dishes (potatoes and salad). We had vieja, a local fish which has a very good taste. The mojo's are good. I heard they make a good paella, we have to try next time.

So we got to Tito´s and we ordered some paella. If you go there don´t do that as they microwave the paella with olives on it. The paella is more of a carrot rice than anything else. Of course the 2 prawns were soggy and tasted terrible. After we decided to order a grilled fish because we could´t eat the... More

The fish was the best we have tasted, rather like halibut, All in all the whole meal was delicious, staff vey pleasant... More

Had the 'Blackboard Special', and special it was, a comprehensive selection of seafood served with 3 sauces, and a more than generous portion of Canarian potatoes. The waitress was a treat, really pleasant, yet very professional. She was on her own serving a quite well patronised restaurant, yet kept things ticking over very nicely. Will certainly try again.

This was a return visit to this restaurant. 3 of us had lunch consisting of prawns, salad, large white fish, canarian potatoes. As with my previous visits, the food was superb, staff very welcoming and helpful. Great location.

Excellent fresh fish / seafood restaurant in a village with at least ten of them. Not pretentious and very traditional, could be seen as lacking atmosphere, but superb fish.

I cant really review this place because we didnt eat here , the main reason being that the fish we were shown looked iffy, not particularly fresh. It was a big disappointment for us as seafood lovers and fishermen, so we left. i get the whole'choose your fish thing' but to us it seemed a little false as the choice... More

Description
On google Maps.Everyone goes past Tito to the front at Los Abrigos to pay far more for food not cooked as well, served by friendly attentive staff in a restaurant that isn't packed. Toutists go to La Perla or Restaurante Los Abrigos. Cogniscenti go to Tito. Simple fish, well cooked and plenty of it. Good house wines, home baked bread and super salads.
