It was really really good, also had a nice view to the beach and a nice atmosphere. The drinks were a bit more expensive but it was okay if you got something to eat. Food and drink were very delicious and the waiters were also very polite. The service was also very fast, you got to eat very quickly and correctly! (From Germany)

Lively reasonably priced restaurant with an extensive menu. Staff very friendly and attentive. This restaurant was almost full compared the all the other almost empty restaurants on the street. Lots of outside tables to sit at. Lasagna very good and a good sized portion (too much for me to finish) My daughter had chicken, goats cheese and walnut salad which she said was delicious. Large glasses of very good Sangria to wash it all down with!

We were walking around looking for somewhere to eat one evening and decided to give this place a try. My husband and I shared the chicken and pork paella with a bottle of wine and thoroughly enjoyed it. Food portion was large and we couldn’t finish it all, so no room for dessert. There was a guy playing music, so enjoyed the ambience. Reasonable price.

Restaurant Calypso is located in the center of Cala Major. It is an extremely tasty restaurant, located in good and safe surroundings close to the sea. The staff are friendly and welcoming and you do not have to wait long before the food is served. The food is reasonably priced but at the same time of good quality. Overall, a very good restaurant that serves food for all tastes and worth a visit if you are nearby.

This place is well worth a visit. Came here twice on our recent stay in cala mayor. Excellent staff, so helpful. Nothing too much trouble. Great choice of food. Brilliant tapas, paella, very tasty. They do burgers, steak, pizza, etc and all are big portions. We'll done calypso

I had seen them on nets and I wanted to try it. The service of 10, very fast and attentive. We try the pizzas that are giant (if you are not very much eating enough one for two with a starter) we also try the croquettes. Very good value for money. I'll be back.

Fantastic paella

Third night here after 2 mediocre meals we came to Calypso. Our friend did not want to come yesterday so we came alone today. Menu has a wide range of choices pizza, burgers, paella and good vegetarian options. All reasonably priced. Plus a nice cocktail range too. Garlic bread with aioli to start which was delicious. Chicken paella for our main which was really lovely. Tiramisu for pudding. Tea and coffee to end. Excellent service, helpful staff. We will definitely come again.

Worth to take a seat

Me and my partner were looking for place for dinner, after walking around Cala Major we decided to stop in this restaurant, he didn't felt very hungry but I really wanted Paella, so he agreed on it. And It was THE BEST PAELLA we had so far! We got drinks and they wasn't very expensive compared with hotel prices for drinks. Definitely recommend it to visit this place

This was the first restaurant we dined at in Cala Major. The staff initially seemed attentive and friendly, it was busy so we thought that was a good sign. The food however left a lot to be desired, I had the worst pizza of my life - no idea how as they aren't hard to make. Value for money was OK but the cuisine itself was pretty back and not well executed. We did not visit this restaurant again.

very high price for what it offers

The restaurant is located in Cala Mayor, to park you have to go a few streets higher. The treatment and service is good. But I find it expensive for what it offers: -10 euros 6 croquettes. -36 euros a mini paella for two. I would say it would be for one person. The experience was good but we would not return due to the high price. I would pay that price if they were on the seafront, not on a side street in front of a bus stop.

Amazing paella!!

The most amazing pork and chicken paella! We just didn't want to stop eating it, it tasted so good! €39 for paella for two people. Great service and a good atmosphere in a busy restaurant. Would definitely recommend!

Popped in after a visit to the village and beach. Great restaurant, goid choice of food and good service. We had the ham and eggs tapas, croquettes and garlic prawns. Yummy. Definitely worth a visit.

Not very satisfied compared to what I expected reading the reviews. Fast and attentive staff, good waiting times, honest prices, but the food didn't convince me much. We took a paiella for three and frankly we didn't like the taste. As if they had put a huge amount of lemon in the cooking ingredients! I've tasted much better. I'm sorry, more can be done.

Perfect lunch and causal dinner venue for our recent city break to Palma. Quality Tapas, burger and drink options with excellent service. Their offering is pitched perfectly. We'll definitely be back on our next visit

I have ordered à simple starter Vitello Tonnato,which are thin sliced of cooked veal with capers and à Tuna mayonese

Super service but the meal "Vitello Tonnato"was awfull.The thin slices of veal were super dry,they suppose to be tender ,the Tuna mayonese had no tuna taste, and the garlic break was dripping oil...Ate 10% of my meal .If you dont know how to execute a dish dont put it on your menu...Waste of money
