Went to this restaurant twice during our stay in Andros and it was excellent each time . Went to several others but not as good as Kavtouvi ( pronounced kandouni) Friendly staff and really good food. The potatoes cooked in the oven are the best ever.

Brilliant night here with a group of 6; plenty of starters and a range of main courses, all cooked to perfection. Fantastic views across the bay and nice comfy seats at a large table, very reasonably priced, although beer a bit pricey. Highly recommended

This beachside restaurant is a great place for drinks in the afternoon or dinner. The owners Giorgos is incredibly friendly and his mother does all of the cooking in traditional Greek style. If you are looking to have a beer after the beach, this is a great spot. The tables are shaded by trees and the drinks come with chips/peanuts/another... More

Nice little place with good food and reasonable prices. We had three small dishes the best of which were grilled sardines. Local wine and bread were added and the bill was less than 20 euros. But, there were only two waiters serving about 15 tables and service was very slow. And a very inconsiderate man was sitting at the most... More

Not much of experience, lousy food, no fresh meet or sea food. Go somewhere else. Pillows on the chairs are very old and dusty and probbably used by local cats to rest on them.

The food is fantastic and the best I have had in Greece. Been coming here for many years and have never had a bad meal. Service is excellent and a family run business.

I think that over the past 20 years we've eaten more meals in the Kandouni than anywhere else on Andros. It's always so friendly - Georgo is in charge and he's just a lovely bloke. His mother Maria does the cooking - her moussaka is astonishingly good, and is now the first thing we order when we arrive. So many... More

On the beach, family run , kindest and most helpful people you could hope for on your holiday. Chocolate mousse is the speciality dessert apart from that food is fresh and delicious.

very good tasty lunch very good prices, excellent service. The stuffed peppers and tomatoes are very good. The owners are "real people" and this place is highly recommended. It is located right near the beach in Batsi in a very nice garden like location.

Thank dellamine
