Fantastic taverna! Situated far from the main road, in a quiet place surrounded by vineyard and lemon trees. For 12,5 Euro you get very tasty greek food, at first - a lot of appertizers: greek salad, aubergines baked with tomatoes and feta, zuccini croquettes, feta...More

A delicious meal, terriffic service, and an authentic country atmosphere. One of the best meals I have had during my stay in Greece. Definitely off the beaten path, but well worth the effort to find it.

My friend found this restaurant by chance on google maps, what a hidden gem this is. It's off the beaten track and you could easily miss the turning, however, there is a rustic signpost outside that leads to the carpark. When you first enter the...More

Recommended by our host as authentic home cooked Greek food. We were not disappointed. Beautiful setting sat under lemon trees as the sun set. Very romantic! Plentiful food. Go there hungry as you will struggle to eat it all. The hosts could not be more...More

To Pirounaki is what I would describe as a good old fashioned Greek taverna. There is no menu, you basically go in and for a set price, get served meze style (small portions to share that keep on coming). We visited on a recent Sunday...More

Description
A picturesque traditional tavern surrounded by vineyards and a fabulous lemon grove. This Greek tavern is the number 1 place to visit for the locals and has not yet been discovered on social media. A generous selection of tasty Greek meze (a kind of tapas) and local drinks will tickle your taste buds, while you listen to live Greek music and have the opportunity by the locals to join in with one of the Zakynthian traditional dances and dance to Zorba.
