Service is always wonderful (even when they are packed!) and the food!! Words cannot describe how amazing the food is (consistently)! We love this restaurant very much and can't recommend it enough.

We ate here once on our 3 week holiday in august 2016. We had been here previously for a family wedding and it was fantastic but sadly I feel it's a victim of its own success. The food was lovely, if not a tad pretentious but it was packed with flavour and cooked fantastically so we can't complain. Also the... More

It is one of the best taverna I ate in all Crete! Iannis is a very nice person and all staff. Confortable place where people eat with pleasure typical and mediterranean dishes. Fantastic fish!Everything fantastic!

Probably one of the most relaxed and nice place to go to in the area. My parents live in Crete and on every trip I make sure we have at least one lunch there. Delicious grilled fish, calm view on the sea.. Everything you can expect from a holiday in Crete! Would definitely recommend!

This is also an excellent choice for brunch or dinner. Their fish was excellent. I had a fish called "skathari" (can't find the translation but it may be a type is sea bream.). It was deliciously prepared on the grill with lemon, oil, and herbs. As a side I had "horiatiki" or village salad with Greek fried potatoes. The meal... More

Visited this taverna 3 times during our last visit to Kalives. The food is the best. Could not fault anything. Pleasant friendly staff and we were not rushed at all. Large portions but too good to waste! Our favourite this year and last year.

We were recommended this as a good seafood place in Kalives by friends who live nearby and weren't disappointed. Lovely food and a great location right next to the sea. Go early or book as it gets full later in the evening.
