Was recommended by friends, and we were very lucky to get a table ( cancellation ). Really gorgeous olde world decor and the locals were so friendly! Food was excellent and portions were perfect. Spent a lovely cosy afternoon.

I have been here a few times, and every time has been a delight. The roast dinner is the best!! I would highly recommend. It's a beautiful little pub and the garden is lovely in the summer.

We booked for lunch for three, we decided to have two starters each to sample more of the menu. We had the chicken liver Parfait (a substitution for the game terrine) this was pleasant abeit a little small, served with two small slices of brioche. The Welsh rarebit was excellent and couldn't be faulted as was the devilled crab. Both... More

Reviews have been varied for this restaurant/pub but we enjoyed our Saturday lunch there. It was busy and clearly people had booked but we were able to get a table. Service was good, the menu explained and drinks brought promptly. I had duck pie, really good and my wife had the special fish of the day, also good. The only... More

Beautiful pub! Very friendly staff. The food was reasonable value for the quality. It was a very special lunch on our honeymoon break to the Cotswolds.

We came for a family meal with children on a cold January day. We received a very friendly welcome and both bar and waiting staff were very solicitous. It came across as a very family friendly pub, the food was delicious, our one small disappointment was that after the main courses we were expecting great things from the desserts and... More

My partner and I have recently spent a few weekends in the Cotswold and discovered the Wild Duck by chance and we're so very glad we did. The pub has recently been purchased by a small restaurant/pub group but I have been informed not a great deal has changed aesthetically but a new kitchen has been installed. This, IMHO, has... More
