We visited at the recommendation of our neighbour, who had warned us of the size of the portions. Nevertheless we stalled half way through the desert of the 33 euro menu. Local seasonal food: we had "Fromage de Tete" - pork head in jelly, house made terrine, green salad, young pork in cream and porcini mushroom sauce, kidneys, heart, liver... More

We loved this restaurant last summer when we visited the area on a family holiday. The food was all served to a very high standards, wholesome, 'heavy' food was served at this restaurant, true french flavors. The service was good, efficient and friendly. The restaurant setting inside is somewhat different to your usual restaurant, very authentic, inviting. Only criticism: There... More

Husband and I have small appetites, so we shared a meal and walked away more than satisfied. Excellent food and great service.

The meals are huge. One is enough for two, so we shared. Went for two desserts instead of cheese & dessert. Their fricassée chicken was tender & tasty. Service was friendly and attentive to our choices. We'd definitely go back for more.

We visited this restaurant to celebrate an anniversary. The food was local and rather good. The service was just right and friendly. It remains one of my favourite haunts and if you can find a local parking space even better! Caution - they serve the special rotten cheese too.

I have visited this special restaurant many times over the years and it always a treat . It is the sort of small family run establishment that you always dream of finding in rural France but alas is now rare . The set menu at 29 € has a choice of 5 or 6 starters all delicious and home prepared... More

Visited here after seeing the reviews on Trip advisor. To be honest you may pass by when looking at the outside appearance as there are plastic chairs and plain plastic tables. The restaurant next door may look more classy but the food in this place is delicious. The menu is small but everything we had was really good, we particularly... More

This restaurant is simply amazing and one of the highlights of our honeymoon. All the courses my husband and I had were incredible and my main was the best dish I have ever eaten. The flavours were superb and the service was fantastic. If we ever return to Provence we will definitely have a visit to La Petite Fontaine in... More
