We have driven the road to Belfast on many occasions and often wondered what Hillsborough was like. Today we sated that curiosity and decided to have lunch in The Plough Inn. We were rewarded with some of the best “pub grub” we have ever had....More

We decided we would eat in the at as opposed to the bistro as it was a bit livlier. We showed ourselves to our table. Which was never cleaned. I had to go up and ask for menus. Then I had to go up again...More

Popped in with mum and dad for a quick bite to eat. Friendly waitress showed us to a nice table in a wee nook of the bar. We all ordered scampi and chips with mushy peas. The scampi was unusual as it was a lot...More

Nice enough place! Nothing special but food was nice! A nice enough place to stop by foe a quick bite to eat but for special occasions I wouldn't be so keen!

It’s a great spot-curry nights on a Thursday . Owner had a few places round about - plough is good. Pheasant I think tops it a few mikes away. Not tried the lours offerings yet though

Been a regular visitor to The Plough for many years. Never disappointed with the food or service. Food always reasonably priced for what you get, whether from the lunch or evening menu. Definitely worth a visit.

We finished this restaurant for lunch , as a treat for my mother and sons. To say we were disappointed with the food would be an understatement to say the least.! It’s been quite some time since we last had a meal here , which...More
