The coffee tastes fresh and strong and is the lowest priced at a latte for $20 cordovas which is about .70 cents. The workers are very friendly and it's a very relaxed atmosphere. Also they have the lowest cost and fresh coffee and beans packages to take as gifts

Seriously. I should have bought another suitcase and filled it with coffee. Unfortunately, I only bought four pounds...at $3 a pound that's about one pound of marginal, overpriced US coffee for five pounds of this tasty stuff. Be sure to ask for a shot of the delicious Nicaraguan rum to be added to your morning cup...my idea of "Irish Coffee"... More

On my short trip to Jinotega, I had a coffee at this place. It's a nice and convinient place in a small town that is know for coffee. Apparently, there are not lots of coffee places in the town. But this is one is good and closer to the Bus station. The staff is friendly and attentive. I read stuff... More

If you're a coffee lover, you cannot leave Jinotega without stopping by Flor de Jinotega. What an unexpected surprise -- the best coffee I've tasted in years. I ordered the latte -- smooth, caramely, no sugar needed.

There may be cuter coffee shops in Jinotega, but I cannot imagine there is a better cup of coffee. Nicaragua coffee from this area has a reputation for low bitterness, great acid balance. To me, it tastes light with a slight cocoa taste with a jasmine flower fragrance. We loaded up a carry-on for personal use and gifts of this... More

After a month of travel in Nicaragua getting really badly made cups of coffee, I must say I didn't have high expectations for this place. Was I ever wrong! The guys making the coffee were real baristas and the coffees were so good, I ended up having two cups. Highly recommended place to actually taste the amazing coffee beans locally... More

Every time I come to Nicaragua, I go home with at least ten bags of coffee from this place. You must choose carefully from the offerings in the dessert case, as it can many times be a crap shoot. The coffee, on the other hand, never disappoints. They have many different roasts available for purchase, and the espresso-based drinks are... More

So good. This place also has hand made pottery, a sweet little garden, amazing service and the guys who make the coffee are just artists! The mocha below was a dollar US and I thought it was so beautiful. Also an amazing tres leche cake.

This is how coffee should taste! Consistent, high quality coffee. Service is awesome, location is always clean and inviting! They have a back area where you can sit out under the bamboo roof and enjoy their little garden!

Very typical as in most of rural Latin America, service isn't always quick. However, I have been here several times, and the staff has always been friendly (although some of the waiters are more reserved than others), and the coffee is very good. Bagged coffee is an EXCELLENT value for the high quality. Menu has recently expanded to include more... More

Great, superb coffee in a nice coffeebar in the marketarea. They also sell some of the ceramica negra from the women's cooperative from las curenas.
