Stop for a couple of glasses of beer and lunch. the waiter was very attentive and food lovely. Would recommend the small fish and chip, light batter and just enough. Well worth a visit.

Been past here many many times over the years but never actually called in until today. It's less than 2 mins off the main Nantwich - Chester road but feels like you are in the middle of the countryside. Situated right next to the canal,...More

Very good quality food, all four of us enjoyed our food. Good selection of beer. Even though staff were stretched with it being a bank holiday week the service was good. All staff very pleasant.

The service was very slow with main course 1 hour 20 minutes from ordering but the most disappointing aspect was the execution of the fillet steak dish which describes a steak with a puff pastry disk, mushroom duxelles and red wine sauce. Is that like...More

Almost certainly so, as this struck us as a family-friendly pub . To be on the safe side, I'd ask them the question directly.
