Ying was one of the busies restaurants in Karon when we were there over the Christmas/New Year period. Based on our experience at dinner, their popularity is appropriate recognition of the quality of the food served and the very good service provided. The food is influenced significantly by Cantonese cooking. All our dishes were tasty - red curry prawn was... More

This place is delicious! Enjoyed fish, squid and spring rolls and all was so good with so much flavour. Great service and good came out fast. Priced so reasonably, went to 2 places on the beach front and food was not as good and was more expensive. Restaurant was packed when we arrived we got the last table and pleased... More

Went there a few times during my vacation. Good food at great prices here. My favorite was the green curry with chicken. I love that they give you a free fruit for dessert at the end of you meal. And if you get there after 4:00 PM you can get a free salad before your meal. Pretty sweet deal ;)

Went there for lunch on our first day in Karon. Had pad Thai, crab fried rice and papaya salad. Food was good, the papaya salad could be a lot more spicier (waiter has asked if we wanted spicy). Crab fried rice was very generous with crab meat. Pad Thai, it was just average. Staff were nice. We were given fresh... More

For a group of 6, they were very accommodating in creating a table for us, even at the expense of their other customers (requesting they move their table backwards to make room for us in the middle of their meal). We ordered starters and mains at the same time from the vast menu offering Thai food to standard British meals.... More

No frills kinda restaurant. Very genuine local cuisine almost like home cooking. Can pack in punch in the curries, so if your palate can't handle it you can request a milder version.Good location on the main street, pricey given it is an off the street local cafe.
