We were tired of the overpriced, empty, foreigner-focused restaurants that line much of karon's streets. We rode around on our motorbike for 30 minutes looking for a local place. We stopped at a little BBQ stand and asked them where we could get Pad thai. They directed us to this restaurant. The staff are friendly and they were very busy... More

Simple restaurant. Great Pad Thai, good prices (only 50 Baht), spicy food. No beers, just juice and sodas. We are used to spicy Thai food, but with the exception of the Pad Thai, all other dishes were too spicy here. It is worth to try it but it is not a big deal.

Basic surroundings, limited menu, order at the counter and wait for your order to be ready. Doesn't sound perfect but for food as good and cheap as this it's worth putting up with. Phad Thai was delicious. Huge portion with tofu, small prawns, beansprouts and slightly sticky noodles. But it tasted wonderful. I've never had better. And so cheap. Beef... More

Fantastic local joint offering cheap and cheerful offerings, Phad thai being the star dish. Free broth, self service rice and ice, laid back and simple cooking. Despite a full house, food was cooked quickly and it was very good, although not the best phad thai I have had. But for what they charge it is awesome and well made and... More

We had this today and it was delicious! I can definitely see why so many fellow travelers have reviewed it so well! We had a ton of food (2 plates of Pad Thai, 2 chicken ball sticks, a bowl of beef soup, and 2 drinks) for $5 USD! They also have great sauces and spices to pick from at your... More

This restaurant isn't going to win any style awards and if your not bothered by no AC, plastic chairs and a little wait for your food then this place is amazing. 50 baht gets you lovely Pad Thai - it's also full of locals so you know it's good. Great food, generous potions and very very cheap!

Both my partner and I loved this little lunch shop. We tried the Chicken Pad Thai, the Prawn Pad Thai and the Beef and rice dish (can't remember the name). Everything was amazing and incredibly reasonably priced- a Karon must visit.

I won't deny that it's the best Pad Thai I've ever had. If you're looking to have some amazing cheap Pad Thai, then this is still my recommendation. My complaint is that the owner threatened to beat my friend and I with a spatula when we asked how long the wait might be. I ended up going back there a... More
