The restaurant is set in the old Governor’s mansion. The interior is magnificent and offers inside and terrace tables. The menu is Thai specialties and they take really good care for any requirements the customers may have. (I cannot eat coriander and like a very mild hot spices and the dishes were presented as required). This is a pricy place,... More

Stopped here briefly and the staff showed us around the grounds for free. Provide cooking classes, a restaurant, and bar. The classrooms looked incredible we unfortunately weren't there during class hours. The drinks we had were great. The Thai cocktail we had with lemongrass and other fresh Thai ingredients was truly special.

We went to eat here after hearing great reviews. The restaurant was empty on a Friday night, which was a bad sign. The food, while there were some exceptions, was very ordinary. The set meals, which should be the hallmark of a great chef, read sub par compared to rest of the a la carte menu. It was a rare... More

I only came in for a wander and the place is stunning. A very helpful member of staff showed me around the entire cooking school, restaurant, bar and shop. I almost felt rude not paying for the tour because it was brilliant. The menu looks very nice as well for anyone wanting to stay for dinner.

We took the long walk down the driveway from the street having just visited the Sunday market. We were greeted at door and given a cold mixed juice shot which helped to cool us down. We chose the first set menu and I have to say I was slightly disappointed. The flavours were all there but both the prawn and... More

Had been wanting to try this place for ages! The place is very attractive, high end Thai decor, menu and food. Service and food was very good but I was not wowed.

This is one of the better culinary schools I've attended I my years of travels. Set in a repurposed colonial mansion, the classroom is formal one with a full demonstration by the instructor. Once completed, you move to the lab portion where you recreate the dishes entirely by yourself. Staff are helpful when needed and stepped back when not. The... More

My husband and I stumbled into Blue Elephant whilst we were exploring Old Phuket Town. We had no idea which restaurant to try so I went onto Trip Advisor and saw raving reviews for Blue Elephant so decided to give it a try. Thank you Trip Advisor for the amazing recommendation as it was one of the best food we... More

The atmosphere and staff were wonderful. The staff was very accommodating and polite. The menu was diverse. Presentation was great. The food itself was spectacular. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Phuket.

Beautiful setting, building and grounds. Restaurant is in an old Portuguese mansion. Authentic and beautiful Thai menu with excellent service. The Blue Elephant is well worth a visit. Pricing is a little higher than other near by Thai restaurants but the food, service and ambiance exceeds the price. They also conduct Thai cooking classes here as well.
