Visiting the nearby caves and stopped here for lunch. Lovely location - made me want to visit again and stay. Quiet when we were there as the weather wasn't the best, but the food made up for it. We all had traditional Thai noodle curry with chicken. Our Thai friend from Lampang said it was one of the best he... More

Always enjoy the food at the Nest and that they mix it up. I usually stay at their resort as well as it's very relaxing space near the mountain. The staff is friendly and personable as well.

At Nest 2, in between squashing mosquitos, the conversation went something like this: - I'll have the corn fritters please "Sorry, finished" - ok, well I'll have the morning glory "Sorry, finished" - spring rolls? "Finished" - aubergene fritters? "Have!" - ok, then a green curry "Finished. Have only red curry" - ok then, red curry but with no tofu... More

I am not sure how much effort the owners have put in convincing The Lonely Planet that this is a prize winning European restaurant, that inhabitants of Chiang Mai come for. If so, that prize must have been given long ago. The King's Head or the white Hart in your average mainstreet do a better job at a lower price.... More

We were staying nearby and dropped into The Nest #1 for dinner. We were in the mood for some western food and were not disappointed. The kids had chicken and chips - nice hand cut chips and homemade crumbed chicken pieces. I had the very yummy crusted halloumi. I think my favourite part was a great place for the kids... More

We ate at Nest #1 and #. At Nest #1 I ate a delicious hamburger because sometimes I need a break from local food, and it was really really good. What to say about the staff, the boss (sorry because I don't remember her name) gave us a map and explained us what to do on the surroundings and she... More

We now live locally to this restaurant (Nest 2) & have eaten here 3 times in the last 2 weeks. Food is very good. 1 of the best green curries I've ever eaten (& I've had many!), great snacks like sweetcorn fritters, wonderful hand cut chips, chicken fried rice etc etc..all thoroughly enjoyed. Complimentary water, clean surroundings overlooking lush gardens... More

If you need a break from Thai food then treat yourself here. A bit pricy for Thailand but comparable to any Western restaurant in price and food quality and presentation. Well worth it

If eating exotic and scrumptious meals has your name on it don't miss this opportunity and all tastes are catered for. A perfect mix of East meets West and ever so fresh makes both restaurants an adventure not to be missed...bon appetite
