Go to Valea Verde to relax with friends or family or for a romantic get-away.....like we did. VV is tucked away in a country hillside setting. Jonas and his wife (owners) do a phenomenal job of making everyone feel welcome, comfortable and well fed. Just like home. Bravo on a phenomenal weekend. We will be back.

We've been here in October, on a Saturday. It was easy to find, although the road was not the best. Still, it was according to the rustic enviorment. We had lunch there, actually, it was the menu of the day, which by the way was the only thing to order. I thonk i would have like to have at least... More

Chef Jonas Schafer is a master of gourmet cuisine with a local touch. During truffle season (most of the year :)) you can have truffles with almost anything :) Make sure however, before you visit, that the owners are on the premises, otherwise the food is entirely disappointing and the service poor. Huge difference between times when the owners are... More

Prepared by the owners, master chef Jonas Schäfer and his wife Ulrike, we had one of the finest dining experience! The food served is mostly collected from the area and it is the purest quality one can find in the area. Each course was matched with the finest wines also from the area! Highly recommended!!!

We went for a Sunday lunch family time. The location is nice, but the food seems cooked by a 6 years old. We had 3 slices of chicken breast with tagliatelle and carrots. In the same plate, with no connection with one another. And a little pot (about 10 spoons) of lentil soup. For the price of 110 lei.

I had the pleasure to experience this restaurant several times already and each and every time it was a great pleasure. The Valea Verde kitchen is very very good and the curtesy is that they use ingredients grown around the zone in a very healthy and bio environment. The multi course dinners are always full of pleasant little surprises (... More

We have seen this restaurant develop from being a rustic, (yet nonetheless always welcoming and charming place to find yourself in!) evening dining place back in 2006 to becoming THE finest eating experience in Romania nowadays! Starting off with a hearty breakfast (do not miss out on those poached eggs!) and a full range buffet that satisfies the sweet and... More

We were just passing by and stopped , pushed by curiosity. The whole place is stunning. You feel like going back in time in a modern car. The several places where you can eat, drink or jsut enjoy a quiet coffee are all pieces of jewlery. Old houses , renovated and comfortable, a prefect service, and a landscape out of... More
