Every time we stopped by this bar, the staff was very attentive and eager to make us feel welcome. Even if we just wanted a glass of water, they would bring cool towels as well to refresh us. Most nights there was live music from a duo who played and sang a great variety of tunes. The drinks were well prepared, the snacks tasty, and the food looked delicious. However, I have to give the highest ratings to the staff for making it a great place to relax!

I've been here for dinner with my sister during our wonderful staying here. We were warm welcomed by all amazing ladies and gentleman Tan, Bua, Ao, Prang, Benz and JJ.. who usually shows up around the property) Food was amazing and delicious that we ordered Thai set menus. I genuinely would like to say very big thank you for you guys taking care of me on occasion of my belated birthday trip. We will definitely comeback for sure in the near future!
Well done Culinary and F&B team!
After that on 20th Saturday, we came for afternoon tea which is beautiful decoration and variety of dessert menus presentation. The ladies and gentleman here were welcomed me and my sister and treat us like family. Thank you so much for the remarkable experience.

We were absolutely thrilled with our special dinner when the staff decorated our table and the surrounding alcove with candlelight and flowers. The setting was romantic and the staff of five served a multi-layered course of local foods. Tan, Bua, O, Pum, and Aof also hand designed a personal card of congratulations. From the table setting to the attentive service the meal experience was top notch. We would highly recommend the Sala Sawasdee Restaurant and Bar in the lobby of the Marriott Phuket Beach Club.

Visited twice during my stay. Khun Pum was very pleasant to welcome me and recommended me to try the local craft beer. I had tried it once in Bangkok but didn't remember it. Pum was quick to give me the main character of the beer. Well, I settled for it and re-ordered the second time I return.
The Phuket cuisine dinner was really delicious for a Thai. All dishes were distinct with nice southern-style spices. And the set menu came with the perfect balance of spicy, mild and sweet dishes.
I made a request for adjustments to my dinner and Pum was very quick to accommodate. Sure it made me feel valued.
Last but not least, a great place to enjoy a drink, a meal and great sunset.

The room at JW Marriott Phuket comes with complimentary either Italian or Thai dinner set. I decided to dine at a Thai restaurant; Sala Sawasdee Lobby Bar. Although this is complimentary set, but the food was amazing. You can have a real meal 3 dishes of appetizers, 1 soup, 3 main courses and 2 desserts. I was even offered Thai omelet as there were some dishes I didn’t like. The food was very tasty. I also ordered two drinks during happy hours (buy one get one free). However, what I enjoy the most at this restaurant was the attentive and friendly service from Khun Aof, Khun Pum, Khun Benz and Khun May. They were all professional and provided service with the smile.

Me and my mom decided to take a late snack at Sala Sawasdee as a afternoon tea set. The staffs: Tan, Pum, Apf and Benz are extremely nice and their service is on the point. The afternoon tea set comprised of fruits, Thai desserts, western desserts and drinks for 2 people. Because it’s night time, we request to change from Thai desserts to fruits, but the set still comes out nice and delicious. Great service.

I can honestly tell everyone I know back in Ireland that this is the best lobby bar in Phuket that you need to be at. I had a wonderful stay here and the staff were very friendly and niece. My stay at the resort was spend chilling out at the bar and enjoying the great food that was to offer while listening to music in the background. I do plan on coming back here again the next time I'm in Phuket. I couldn't get enough of the food and friendly environment of the staff at Sala Sawasdee. While I was their the staff would sorted out anything you needed that would make your stay more enjoyable. I want to say a big thank you to all the staff especial to Khun Aom for making my stay very enjoyable and I hope to return soon.

From the first day of our stay we loved the staff in the bar. The attention we received here was overwhelming. We were always given a good seat, we are both wheelchair users, and we were looked after very well, both in terms of drinks, as well as a snack or meal. The employees Pum, Aom and managerin Pla deserve special mention here. who made a special effort. The whole stay was rounded off in the evening with the appearance of the band, with whom we had a very friendly relationship at the end. These two artists also contributed to an unforgettable experience for us. We hope that the bar will continue to be so well received and wish you all the best.

The no.1 restaurant that I wanna eat in JW marriott . After go there I was impress with good service of all staff "Tan, Bua, Ao and Prang. They pay attendtion to you and caring how you feel about taste of food or your comfortable between in service. Only the location of the restant that not private enough. Many customer can passed through the restaurant and no air condition. Someday the weather too hot so you can not enjoy food as you want. Type of food are not much but taste is ok. Price of food are resonable for paying. The good point are this restaurant have many promotion that you can enjoy and staff are very kind.

What a great place to enjoy a night cap beverage.The staff Pum, AOF, O, PEAR & beer where wonderful hosts. Very pleasant and accommodating. Highly recommend stopping in for food and beverages.
The pizza and potato wedges are on point and wash it down with a “Green lantern or Butterfly elixir” beverage and wow!
Makes for a wonderful way to end the day!

I had the occasion to enjoy the lovely Afternoon tea few days ago. After spending 3 active days on beach, a sudden thunderstorm forced us to change the plan for this day. We decide to grab our books and find a nice place and just relax. Sala Sawasdee is the perfect venue for this occasion and we really enjoyed the Afternoon tea set with a variety of Thai and other sweets. The service of the team, Khun Tan, Bua, Ao and Prang was outstanding, thank you so much. I hope that I can be back soon.

We​ really​ enjoyed​ having dinner​ at​ Sala Sawasdee Lobby​ Bar restaurant.​The​ food​ including​ with dessert was​ really​ delicious.​They​ provide fantasic​ local​ Thai​ food.​ We​ had​ the​ Thai​ set​ for​ the​ dinner. Recommend​ "Moo Hong" the​ favorite​ local​ food​ in​ phuket.​ Very​ friendly and​ polite​ staff, ​Khun​ Tan​,​ Khun​ Bua, Khun​ Ao, Khun​ Prang,​ Especially​ Khun​ Tan was​ outstanding service.

My family have a dinner here. The staffs (Tan, Boa,Ao and Benz) are so nice and provide the great service to us. Even we ordered the special menu not in the list because my kid could not eat hot and spicy food that included in the set menu. They offered the choice from room service. The tropical Thai food taste is so delicious.

The service for the hotel was really good. All of the staff was very nice and emphathy especially k’apo,prang and may. Besides, the tastes of the food also impressed us more than the other restaurants that many people recommend. Definitely will come back here again!

A hidden hotel gem for outdoor, relaxed nice Thai dining.
James, who also works at Cucina rst next door, took great care of us and remembered my wife must be gluten free.
Be sure to try the satay. Marinated in coconut milk and so good! The Pad Thai and green curry were delicious too.
A really comfortable outdoor venue to try at this resort. Especially if it’s raining!
