Delicious vegan options!

We came to Anantara Layan for our honeymoon and it was a perfect holiday. The whole location is stunning - right on a long sandy beach lined with palm trees, looking out on a beautiful bay, with multiple large pools. Dee Plee was absolutely delicious....It is a Thai restaurant, and although being more expensive than traditional Thai restaurants in the area, it is very special. It has a beautiful view of the pool and the beach, and is a lovely spot to watch the sunset. The service is fantastic and they even bring some extras like miang kham - which is betel leaf wrapped traditional treats, and butterfly flower tea - which changes colour when lime is added. There isn't much on the menu that is vegan but they are extremely accommodating and can easily veganise almost anything on the menu. They even made a few dishes that aren't on the menu for us like som tum (green papaya salad) and Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles). We ate there a number of times and every dish was excellent. The service was exceptional throughout the hotel, but in Dee Plee Nana , Yaya. Aoi and Emmy were especially good.More

Best restaurant and so friendly staff

If you staying in Anantara Layan hotel you must try that restaurant thai food .. The staff are so cute and friendly they are so caring and helpful I loveeeed it thank you nureetar and kookkai those two staff are awesome 🤍✨

Thai food and breakfast

Anantara Layan's Thai restaurant. It is also where breakfast is served. I've been there for both breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is a buffet with eggs made to order. Dinner is Thai food. Huge portions. Very good. Excellent staff.More

Delicious

Food and ambiance was just divine. Staff were delightful and complimentary drink and small dish were very tasty. We are currently staying at this resort and will definitely be back. My husband said it was the best Massaman Curry he’s ever had. I had Southern...Style chicken skewers which were also repeat worthy. Don’t forget the mango sticky rice for dessert!More

I learned to cook with Chef Hong and loved every second!!!

We booked a Thai Cookery course, Spice Spoons, with Chef Hong at the DeePlee Kitchen and it was one of the best experiences- you have to try it! We were there for three hours and we were taught how to cook four different dishes. Chef...Hong explained the history of the food, why certain ingredients were used and demonstrated techniques for chopping and preparing vegetables. Not only was she informative, she was also a whole lot of fun!! We laughed throughout and she gave as much or as little help as you needed! After each course, you get to sit and eat what you have prepared and at the end, you get some lovely things to take away. The two other members of staff, whose names I didn’t get in afraid, were also fabulous! So helpful, funny and really made sure you had everything you needed. I thoroughly enjoyed my afternoon with Chef Hong and the team and highly recommend it to everyone!!More

Awesome Food, Awesome Service!!

We visited on our first night of our stay at the Layan Resort. The food was excellent, we had a lovely evening, Mai and Pakpao looked after us well, and suggested some excellent dishes. The massaman curry was exceptional... Love this place, we will be...back !!!More
