The food isnt bad, but if you compare to other restaurants nearby, the prices here are much higher for the same quality..
But that might explain why other outlets tend to fill up really quickly while here was still quite empty? We had no choice but to come here as we didnt want to queue for other restaurants and had an average meal at a high price.

Its price is slightly higher compared to the other restaurants they have along the road, but that might be due to the fresh seafood that they have in the fish tanks at the front of the restaurant.
So if you are having seafood, you might consider this is an option, although there are more options in other locations in the island such as Laem Hin.
But if you are not there for seafood, and strictly for Thai food or international food, than you could find better valued items else where such as Sunset or Pesto.
But once again as the title stated, this isn't a bad restaurant, it is pretty good, its just that there are other places with more value in the area.

We went quite late in the night and it was almost empty, no customer, the service was very good and the food was as expected. The waiter who served us was kind, I forgot to ask his name but he was a guy most probably the caption of the restaurant. Thank to all the staffs 😊

We decided for a final Thai/seafood dinner prior to taking off for the airport. Many places were closed due to some vegetarian festival I believe. This place was one of the few that were open so we gave it a shot - should really have known better given the name: sounds like a place designed as a trap for Chinese tourists.
We ordered lots of seafood and frankly nothing was good. The freshness of some things were also very questionable. Upset stomach for a five hour flight home - talk about timing!
Lots of excellent choices for food in the Laguna/Boat Avenue area. Strongly advise future tourists to keep walking when passing by this one.

To everyone I'm Big Boss 'owner .
We would like to tell you about our restaurant .
"No Tax and Service charge!!".
"Free shuttle service (Laguna area)".
"No charging any CARD!!"
Moreover, there are a lot of seats provide for you guys to enjoy with ur group! . We read every reviews and improved things much. Also, our food is more fresh quality and delicious. Absolutely , Thai food is the best 'just try it' .

It's hard to find a good place to eat when you stay around Bangtao Beach area full 5 star resorts. Bigboss seafood sent a tut tut for us to fetch us back and forth from their restaurant as we have requested through our hotel. We were a little worried when we arrive for lunch as we are the only customers. Turns out the seafood (we ordered fish and prawns) are really fresh and comes in big portion. The fruit juices are refreshing too! Price is not cheap but worth a try...

Since all the beach restaurants have been destroyed we tried some new restaurants to find some new alternatives.
Big Boss offers pick up service from the Laguna Resort motels so that is a positive, but they were 15 minutes late to pick us up. When we arrived we saw some familiar faces from the Tony's restaurant that used to be on the beach. We checked and yes it is Tony's with a new name and location.
Seafood is just OK but Thai dishes are excellent. The grouper in soy sauce was delicious as were the typical Thai dishes.

last evening before leave we decided to go for sea food . That place was ABSOLUTELY wrong choice
Nothing what we ordered was even mid-good.... We ordered king prawns, but they gave us simple shrimps, which we declined to have. In 2 minutes time I saw how same shrimps were offered to another table instead of something else. Crab was 0 ! No meat inside at all. I should stand next to aquarium when they took a crab out of there... Thus I did not see where this crab came out from...???
Finally, they brought me wrong bill !!!! 4 times more,,,,,!!!! I complained. They changed but still I found same shrimps there, which I never ordered and declined to have.
Stupid place, wasted time, losten chance to have farewell dining in Phuket.
For sure not a place to go!!!!

The service is very good, staff are friendly. The food are served fast. Their thai food really delicious especially tom yam goong, lemon steam fish and the mixed vegetables. I really enjoyed the food, my children loved the steam fish. Really nice and we had a great time. They have variety of food choices from thai to european. The price is cheaper compare to chaba thai restaurant.

Seafood freshly served. Thai cuisine was not that good, better to go somewhere else for a nice traditional curry. Staff is friendly.

They have alive seafood creatures but you don't know what they cook because you just tell the staffs what and how many, that's all. They do not let you check the food and quality and quantity. They just only concentrate more beer and bill.
I felt very uncomfortable and bad. they regard you just as cash, not offer good service and happiness.
ah.....
I wanna recommend this restaurant to someone.... If you wanna lose your enemy or make new worst-fated relationship..... you just tell them go this restaurant :) I bet you will success ^^

We really enjoyed our meal and the warmth of Big Boss. The BB himself escorted us to our table, and selected a nice white snapper from one of his fresh tanks for our meal. Delicious, and lots of nice conversation with BB, who speaks English well. Bonus: Our complimentary ride back to Laguna Hotel. BB drove, of course.
Good food, good people, Wonderful evening.
