The 20 € menu can be recommended! The Cervelles d'Agneau were delicious. As were the calf kidneys and the lapin rôti. Perfectly prepared and served. The wine list leaves nothing out. We prefered to go local: Domaine de Fondreche - red, 2015 was perfect. We'll come back for sure. Inge & Norbert Buschmeier, Denmark

The restaurant offers a good selection of different menus and wines. All the courses were freshly prepared and tasted very good

I love coming to France and finding extraordinary restaurants and this is one of them. Fantastic food from a selection of fixed price menus. The nice thing is that they don't charge extra for a few bottles of water or bread so the price of the food is the price you pay other than for alcohol. In addition to this,... More

Stopped here in sault en route to Nice. Best meal we've had, super service. Do a bespoke cyclists menu and good fixed price menu.

After a morning in the Colorado Provençal, we drove to Sault and stopped for lunch at "Le Provençal" based on Trip Advisor reviews. What a great idea! Fantastic staff, friendly and welcoming, including the chef who came twice to a) let our daughter try the "petit epeautre" (some type of wheat) before she ordered and b) make sure we were... More

Good appetizer, especially melon and ham. Their lavender ice cream is unforgettable! Good service and wine selection.

Trusted TripAdvisor reviewers and dined here on our first night in Sault. Opted for the 17.50euro menu. Great food and friendly, efficient service. Excellent value for the number one restaurant in town.

We arrived in Sault late on a rainy Sunday & quickly found this perfect spot. They took our reservation and we headed off to Ciecle for a quick aperitif. Le Provençal offer a range of 4 course set price menus which are incredible value for money. We Started with aubergine, then pork in a mustard sauce & white fish in... More

We had lunch here: great food. Nice terrace. Extremely friendly service by two ladies. Reservation is recommended if you arrive after 12h45. (We actually wanted to eat a second time here, but fully booked, although it was not even 13h00).

We were in Sault for 2 nights and hoped to have a nice French meal. I had high exoectations from the great reviews. Our meal - the 24 Euro set meal was very disappointing. It tasted like everything was cooked en mass and just reheated. Brocoli overcooked. No salt or seasoning and mushy. Side of barley - tasty easy to... More
