We were informed about this restaurant by our hotel manager. it is hidden in the spectacular landscape of the Eugenian hills. the food was tasty, obviously authentic, not expensive and good prepared. There were, however, predominantly tourists, just 2 Italian couples were eating dinner. a very old Wisteria on the entrance, makes the impression of this nice restaurant complete. Good... More

Our group of nine was lucky enough to reserve the private room at Da Taparo when we were in town. The service and the meal was absolutely splendid. We had a three course lunch... risotto, pork loin in pastry and tiramasu. All three were excellent and worthy of a return visit. The service wasn't rushed and the staff were gracious... More

The outside seating area is a vast area that is protected from the sun by a blanket of Wisteria. If you go, then try to go in late spring when the purple flowers must look absolutely fabulous. Unfortunately I can't say the same about the food. This is a typical Italian trattoria, but the cooking is really not up to... More

The menu is very good, the wine list is local, the place is quite elegant. You can sit outside. I reccomed this for families with kids, as you can eat outside while kids are playing in the PLAYGROUND. As far as I know (and I tried most of the places in CE) this is the most children friendly in the... More

If I had to choose one restaurant in Italy for my favourite place to be, it would be Da Taparo. In fact the only reason I haven't reviewed it earlier is because I wanted to keep it secret! This place is magical at any season, but especially for lunch in April when the ancient wisteria trees are in full blossom... More

Absolutely beautiful wisteria dining area outside, second to none in enchanting atmosphere! Elegant, tasteful and if you are lucky to happen by when the wisteria has just bloomed the perfume must be incredible. The food was good and the wine list too! Superb dessert millefoglie with chantilly cream and strawberries😋 the only negative was the service, slow to the point... More

we were unsure of were to eat, and ended up here following local advice. The local was cold and un hospitable, and the service stale. They took a long time to take our order, and when i finally ordered truffle (of which i was excited about seen that i was in Italy) it was worst than the ones you buy... More
