Excellent Thai street food! Our return visit after a long hiatus ...the place was the same with mature trees. The food remained authentic Thai n delicious. Too bad they didn't serve mango sticky rice! we tried our usual the seafood tom yum, fish cake ... the fried siakap, lemongrass chicken, seafood fried rice, paku vege n the Thai crispy eggs, n red red rubies for dessert. We love the lemongrass refreshing drink too! we definitely come again!

Wonderful ambiance and quaint little place and lovely food! Located an hour drive from Kuala Lumpur. Free from noisy city with beautiful nature, but a bit warm overall. Lucky we requested to put us in an Aircon room, feel much comfortable. We all love the food. Recommended

Ordered their fish tom yam. It's a very unique tom yam as they put some fresh milk (I guess) and slices of fish (I have no idea what fish. I forgot). You have to come here to try their mouth-watering cuisine! Also, love the ambience and the concept of the toilet.

Hidden oasis!! Wonderful ambience and lovely Thai food. Had a well prepared Haruan (snake head) never thought snake head would taste that good.. great way to spend a holiday moment away from the hustle and bustle of town!!

Having a short one-night getaway at Tanjong Malim. About an hour drive from KL to this beautiful, artistic and serene yet modern location. We took the green room, it is also the room nearest to the entrance. Nicely decorated room with private balcony & wood decking that looks onto a lotus pond. They have 4 villas in total, we had 3 other couples (our friends) joined us for the trip, that took the remaining 3 villas. It felt like a private resort. Ma-Ni Thai restaurant, was beyond excellent. The ambience was great, food was fantastic. I especially liked the fried egg, green curry and tom yum soup. It potentially could be an amazing wedding venue!! The owner Mr Ma, was very helpful and friendly. He checked on us every now and again to ensure we had everything that we needed. I will highly recommend this restaurant and accommodation. And look forward to visiting it soon.

Place: It's located next to a temple, which makes you wonder whether you at the right place. But don't worry, you'll be amazed once you get in from the gate entrance. It's looks like a little Thailand in Malaysia. Ambience: I love the character of the place. You didn't expect such setting in Tanjong Malim. Great place for couples and families too. For your information, we came for for berbuka (break the fast), we hardly found any mosquitoes around at this time. I can't imagine how well the owner take care of the place. Not to forget, a clean washroom. The food: "Welcome to Bangkok" There's a variety of Thai food you can try. Since this is our first time, we only pick recommend item from the menu. Alhamdulillah...we were satisfied. We will make another visit soon. The price: It's complement everything, the place + the atmosphere + the food and the people too. I don't mind to pay extra for good food and excellent service. Surau?: However i forgot to ask about the surau since we left earlier to catch Maghrib at home (We live here for almost 11 years, and we just found the gems in Tanjong Malim 😅).

Yes it is over an hour's drive to the North of Kuala Lumpur but the effort was well worth it. This is a hidden gem with no road signage but with a good GPS it can be found next to a Hindu temple. We went for a birthday celebration so 15 of us in all. The food was really very good although the service was a little erratic perhaps as we were a large party. I believe it is only open for dinner during the week but for lunch and dinner at weekends. Make the effort to find it.

Ma-ni Thai Cuisine is a hidden gem in Hulu Bernam. It took us approximately 1 hour drive from Cheras, Kuala Lumpur but we feel the dishes and the atmosphere for dinner worth it. The serenity and green surrounding amaze us and the warm lightning makes us feel even more relax from our busy city life. The variety of foods are sufficient. While me and my partner orderd Smoked Duck Curry with Grapes, Clear Tom Yum, Century Egg with Minced Chicken, and Beancurd it proof to be fulfilling and the tastes was great. I personally feel the taste are closed to the authentic thai food we had in Thai. It took approximately 30 minutes for them to cook and serve all the dishes we order. The presentation of the food was good and again the taste was great. I would highly recommend the Curry Smoked Duck dish as it is one of our favorite and the taste and aroma of curry and grapes blend well together. Total bill cost around RM116.00 (Inclusive of RM10.00 corkage fee). We will definitely return to this place for the nice atmosphere and delicious thai cuisine despite the 1 hour travelling time. They operate from lunch to dinner till 11.00pm.

We searched for an out of town place to eat during the Chinese New Year, and found the Ma Ni Thai Cuisine, the drive from KL is about an Hour, after a while we where thinking was it really worth it... but to our surprise we were taken aback by the rustic ambiance, the serenity and the outlook of the place. The food was appealing, the Thai dished were well presented and it tastes good, the drinks were cheerful and the owner of the restaurant was very friendly!. I would gladly recommend this place as a nice getaway from the city and would definitely visit again! Paul Selvam Devadoss Kuala Lumpur.

Situated approximately 45 mins north from KL, lies a little county called Hulu Bernam. Within it lies a cleverly hidden Thai restaurant that boasts of an amazing Zen ambience. With a nondescript entrance, you are highly dependent on Google Maps to bring you to the right spot. Little is known about this nook in from your regular food and culture media, but rave reviews about its location and atmosphere are abuzz by word of mouth from patrons. Step in and allow yourself to take in the lush greens. A poster of Bob Marley and a Yamaha upright piano will greet you at its entrance. Its architecture, so strongly rooted in the utilization of wood, cement and bricks, have given this sanctuary a grounding that has drawn scores of people to it. The owner must be a real big music and bike fan as the adornments from both are hard to miss at the reception. The elevated dining area is shaped as a triangle, and right in the centre, the platform opens up to expose a fresh running stream from the mountains, with a small forest of fronds and greens to boost. Serving an equally delicious Thai cuisine, the ambience does enhance the food from good to pretty awesome. I can assure you, that most patrons are here foremost for the location, good food is a pleasurable bonus. I must say that the fish and seafood dishes we have ordered are fresh. Here you will be able to feast on authentic Thai food and sample some fusion dishes. Do note that Mango Sticky Rice is only available on weekends. Alcohol is not served here. Highly recommend the steam fish with spicy and sour sauce, tom yum with coconut milk is a good bet too. The pricing of the food mostly starts from RM20 per plate and above, but without batting an eyelid, I will come back to this restaurant multiple times even though I will be able to find equally delicious, nearer and more affordable Thai food in KL. If you absolutely enjoy having a quiet dinner in a private setting, call in and come by during the weekdays from 6pm - 11pm. Weekends and public holidays are when the crowds from KL and Ipoh converge onto this small plot of land, and they open from 12pm - 11pm. Fancy having a romantic dinner for two and staying on for the night? Very much possible provided that one of the four private villas are available. Come away to tranquility, nature and some intimate time with your partner. Have tea, lounge on the chairs, read a book, write, recharge, draw... everything that you need to get yourself recharged for civilization can be found here.
