In the morning, I borrowed a bicycle to explore Taitung Chishang. Next to Brown Avenue, there is a famous "Dachi Doupi Shop". It looks like a tin house, has no beautiful decoration, and only sells a few kinds of food. I ordered hot soy milk and fried bean buns that day. The soy milk is very thick and fragrant, and you can taste the original flavor of soybeans. Pan-fried tofu skin is the signature dish. The store fry the freshly picked bean skin until it is tender and crispy. The soybean flavor, paired with the store's homemade kimchi, is just right. There are 4 pieces of fried bean buns in one portion, which is enough for one person.

A quick and succulent breakfast to make before a walk (walking or cycling) in the rice fields. The tofu skins are well cooked. Soy juice is good too, to choose between hot and cold (I recommend cold, a little less strong in taste). Nice staff, well-trained system, but not very English speaking though (but not very serious, we still manage).

Nice food! Lucky we could still taste the shallow fried bean curd sheet late in the afternoon. We heard that it might be sold out early in busy days. Tofu pudding (豆腐花) was full of yellow bean flavor. It was much better than that in another famous one Fu Yuan (福原) which we tried the day before.

It does taste rather good. However the prices are exceed Taipei prices, they're tourist place prices, and the general attitude of the staff are very haughty, rushed, and aloof like pay up and go on outta here. If you can separate the two then the culinary taste is worth a look, otherwise the experience is soured a bit

tis is a shop tat selling bean curd sheet, bean curd bag, soy milk, soybean pudding, u can drop by when u r visiting ChihShang township to hv some bean made meal.
we visit here at 10July, 2017. we ordered the bean bag but its no more like d ordinary piece by piece (u can refer to others ppl's photo), instead they serve by stripes in plate. We couple are vegetarian n we r use to eat bean curd product, but frankly it taste not good serve by stripes, n the famous soybean pudding sold out oso tat time just 3p.m. afternoon, overall had a little disappointment.
