A must for any 1st visitor to Guanshan. The owner, Mr. Chiu, is a good story teller, who is willing to share how his mother come up the idea of Guanshan Lunchbox.

Conveniently located on the corner near the Guanshan Train Station, this wood-paneled restaurant serves Hakka style biendang. Cheap with many options; I enjoyed the fried chicken leg. Rice is local and excellent. Picture menu. Extremely quick service. Line during lunchtime but moves quickly. Beautiful old-style wooden tables. Recommend.

We stopped by just to have lunch and it was very hard to find a restaurant in Guanshan. This place is very visible. It's located in a corner across the agricultural co op. We had no other option.
The staff doesn't speak English. Thankfully they have a menu with pics.
The lunch boxes were very similar. It was ok. Nothing to write home about.
