Blue Dragonfly is a popular Taitung area fast food chain that served up some good fried chicken. They don’t add an overwhelming amount of spice like some of the other Taiwanese chicken places, so the food was a lot easier on my tastebuds. It’s also one of the few spots open late.

If you have a craving for fried chicken, this is the place to go. It was apparently the first fast food spot in the city. The taste of the chicken is delicious but it doesn't taste like Taiwanese style fried chicken. Service is friendly and they are fast.

I ate here during dinner. Be prepared to queue. Fresh and juicy fried chicken. Crispy fries were yummy too.

We opted for a chicken burger hoping it will satisfy our crave after reading so many food reviews. The burger was tiny, maybe 0.5cm thick, breaded and deep fried. On top of that there was sweet mayo added as condiment and overall it just didn’t work.

First of all, the line was long. We had waited for an hour before we could order our food. So, you would expect the food must be amazing. Only it's not. I had no clues and still have no clues why people would stay in a long line for this kind of fast food. I would rather go to McDonald's or KFC. Oh, by the way, its milk shake is not really the milk shake we know - very strange flavor and taste. Well...it must suit Taiwanese but definitely not for me.

Saw a long queue and thought it must be good. After queuing for half hour (Sunday afternoon) the chicken piece tasted so-so. Nothing special.

Sure it serves fried fast food and is fuss free. But the quality is surprisingly good: food's fresh and doesn't seem to be from the frozen varieties. No wonder a queue is perpetually there till late.

What did I eat at a fast food store besides good (as in very "palatable") fast food? Nothing other! But, it was so good and authentically different, differently authentic, that I give it four stars. By local standards, and by virtue of the freshness of certain veggie, it can be a 5. Next?

the spice on the chicken is good, the meat is moist but is it the best fried chicken I have eaten? No. But base on American Style fried chicken that you can find in Taiwan, it is really good. But honestly, I rather eat Taiwan style fried chicken
