Love this place. Fantastic village pub. Nice ale, good food and friendly staff. We have eaten here numerous times both as a couple and as a family and never had a bad meal. Dog and kid friendly. Highly recommended

We've stayed in Delabole three times and always enjoy going to the Bettle and Chisel for an evening drink or a meal. It's a proper cosy village pub, with great food at reasonable prices and the service is welcoming and friendly.

We had Sunday Supper at the Bettle and Chisel. The food was good, though by the time we arrived some of the offerings on the menu were no longer available. Rather crowded.

I believe it is. There was certainly a dog water bowl at the back door and a dog in the pub garden when we visited. There is also a medium sized mown area where a dog could run about. I can,#'t remember if dogs are allowed... More
