If you like seafood this is the place to visit! We made reservations as it is a favorite place to eat. That owner showed us to our table and explained how your meal starts. You order your lobster ( small, medium or large ) then you can go fill up your plate with mussels, salads homemade bread etc. Everything tasted... More

This is a Rustic lobster Hall experience. It is not fine Dining - But who wants that when eating Lobster. The all you can eat home made salads, mussels and rolls are fantastic and your Lobster is always cooked to Perfection. There is a couple of other options for the non Lobster lover. We always make this a must do... More

Lobster supper served at wooden tables in big wooden-beamed building - if Princess Di can do it, so can we! (they did take hers out of the shell to make it easier to eat) Salad bar to start, didn't even try the mussels - Complete with dessert - attentive service. FUN!

One of our stops was in Nova Scotia and I assume we were one of the last cruises to leave that area. The food was good but the building was very cold. They had a fireplace but it no where warmed the hall we ate in. The lobster and fixins were good but the butter we dipped our lobster in... More

Came here as part of a conference banquet with about 300 people. For those having lobster it wasn't bad. But if you were one of the 20 people who either couldn't eat lobster or didnt want it and opted for the chicken option you'll be severely let down. We were given essentially a chicken kiev with boiled potatoes. Very tiny... More

We were staying at a nearby campground but had heard of this place from a local who was assisting us in a nearby grocery. It was one of the best tips we were given during our tour of Nova Scotia. It was a bit expensive but not when you consider all you get. The steamed mussels and salad bar are... More

My wife & I had a lobster supper at the Shore Club with a large conference group of about 250 people on Wednesday 22 September. This was an amazing feat to serve about 250 people a lobster supper that included all you can eat mussels, cole slaw, bread rolls, dessert and of course two lobsters. All to the accompaniment of... The Shore Club was recommended as the place to go for fresh lobster. Good recommendation. Not a fancy place but we were there for the lobster. We were not disappointed. We felt it was good value for the money. Blueberry shortcake was delicious.

Enjoyed every minute of the experience - this restaurant has been in operation for 80 years. Salads, mussels and fresh buns - all you can eat. You choose the size of lobster. A few other non-seafood options available. Staff was excellent. Due to our schedule we could only go Wednesday - quiet, not too busy. We would have liked to... More
